I had the unfortunate experience of staying at this camp ground and have never payed money to be
treated so poorly. I cannot believe he is still in
business and that as a community someone has done something about this man Shane. He is giving the town a bad name.

He dropped six of us off to canoe and we were picked up at six by someone yelling the f word we were put in the back of a truck 6 people and coolers while this person drove crazy to find our personal itemsthrown out in the yard and him carring a sword. Do you know this maniac?

His name is Shane Parks.
He WAS a really great guy and Dakota Ridge was a fun relaxing place to go to get away from it all. It is really sad that suck a great guy fell back into the dark hole of alcoholism and drugs. unfortunately he is blaming everyone else for his problems right now when all he needs to do is look in the mirror.
You can't run a business and get extremely drunk while working, allow your employee to
drink and hang out with girlfriends while working.

Well I guess if your MISSION is to be friends / cool with your employee and disregard the safety and your obligations to your customers and community Shane Parks is doing a PERFECT JOB!!!!!!

He screwed us out of $200.00 on a reservation. Claimed his wife "took all of his money". This guy is a crook! Do not stay there unless you want to get ripped off. My lawyer will be in touch Shane.

Donald he screwed me out of $600 for a cabin i rented for 3 days. Sure hope you get your money back.

it is located in lesterville missouri and i filed a complaint with the better business bureau. If he owes anyone else money or has treated them wrongly please do the same it is very easy to do online thanks.

I go by there on my way to work, i think i see the truck you were talking about everyday. They are always peeling out in the truck n look like a buncha scum bags. Sorry you had a bad expierence here, not everyone is that way around here.

If you see them driving the White Dodge I think Ram like that especially if there are any kids in it PLEASE call 911. The owner Shane doesn't even have a liscense and he is drinking & driving while transporting campers and children!!!

That's right another camper screwed. Shane wrote a refund check for $100.00 for a raft cancelation. But it bounced twice!!!

Please file a complaint with the better business bureau. The more complaints the better chance we will have in getting our money and bringing this
loser to justice!!!!!

I might be wrong, but unless he is a member of the BBB there isn't anything they can do. You might want to talk to the states attorney though.
