How can you people get on here and post such crap. The dog is innocent until proven a pit. Tracy May is innocent until proven guilty. I think you have nothing better to do than try and create drama. Dana has nothing to do with any of this. The ordinance was adopted by a previous mayor and board. You need to look within your own life and see your ghosts and then deal with them and leave everyone else alone.

How can you say a dog is "guilty" of being a pit bull? That's like me saying you're "guilty" of being black. Noone, not even animals get to choose what breed/race they are. Pedophiles, however, are another story.

Since you know more than I do, please inform everyone on this site which mayor and which council members passed the no pit bull ordinance. I would really like to know.

The mayor was Junior Sutton, Baleys grandpa

Well, it doesn't take a genius to figure out it must have been her mama, and her grandfather! Tammy will do a lot to bring shame to her father and mother of Baylie, witness the TV.
Angie was Clerk/collector for many many years and Grandfather was Mayor for many many years-many many and he was a great mayor but then I think Dana is good.Do you recall who ran for Mayor at the last election? So given the choices Dana is so much the better choice.
Look at that headline of this Topix - Dana is not a threat and has done nothing wrong but keeps getting her name on here.
I wonder WHY? Sghe is a good person and yes, she keeps her lawn neat. I like that she has pride in her place. Much rather see a neat lawn than trash and debris laying around or a half finished house.

If one subject won't make the news, then try another subject.
Well, it is a small town and old wounds heal very slowly, if at all. My advice, please be careful what filth you spew as karma can be vindictive.
To the teen with the dog, he is a lovely dog and I hope that he is not a pit.
As a person chased by large muscular dogs, at one point in my life, I am very fearful of ALL large powerful looking dogs running at large. I curled into a fetal position as the dogs attacked. I carry scars from this attack. No,the dogs were not, to my knowledge, pit bulls just big old mixed breed dogs running in a pack and I was a tasty morsel needing to be left with physical and emotional scars.
I guess what I mean to say is, give the DNA test time to be processed before foaming at the mouth. Once you spew on this topix, it stays around for a long time.

Heather didn't start this thread, I did, and No, I'm not gonna post my real name. I'm not a fan of Dana, Heather, or Angie --- But Heather is definitely the better of the three. I have always known Tracy for what he is. As for Dana taking heat, Well, that's her JOB she is the MAYOR of city, SO SHE SHOULD BE THE ONE TO GIVE COMMENTS AND REPRESENT IT --NOT THE POLICE OFFICER. CLEARLY SHE IS NOT DOING HER JOB AND TRYING TO HIDE FROM THE CAMERAS AND NEWS MEDIA.

If Jr. was the mayor and Angie was the clerk then this would make Tracy May the alderman, meaning he voted this in as well.
As far as the Sutton's, isn't it funny how they were the one's to make the law but don't believe they should abide by them. I know more than one who had to get rid of their dog because of this stupid law, but since it is still on paper and is a law, what makes this family think they are above the law?

Bayle's mother and grandfather have nothing and I mean nothing to do with her decision. Was it bayles decision to ban pitbulls when her grandfather was mayor, no it wasn't. This has nothing to do with the Suttons' past.

Actually, it has everything to do with the "Sutton's". Junior was Mayor, therefor he believed in AND up-help this ordinance for years. Her mother was the city clerk and the actual reason the ordinance was even brought in to begin with. Now their own family feels it is above this law that several others have had to follow for years! I'm not saying anything against Bayle and honestly I hope she gets to keep her dog. I'm only pointing out that no one else has been above this ordinance, why should they be?!?!?!

This still has nothing to do with Jr. and Angie because when they published the law of banished pit bulls, Tammy, Denny, nor Bayle had a say in it.

So are you saying that because they did not have a say in the ordinance being written, they should not have to follow it? Because several others did not have a say either, and yet none of those people contacted the media. They simply resigned themselves to giving up the animal they were not allowed to have to begin with. And actually, if you will go to Facebook and look at Angie's page, SHE was the one that contacted Fox 2. There were several inaccuracies in the news broadcast and very little reporting. One of the inaccuracies being that Bayle contacted Fox 2 since Angie posted a copy of what SHE wrote to them.

So is there someone going around looking in our yards/houses to see what pets we have? No don't think so. Question how did this dog come to get attentions..did he do something? Police usually act only on complaints or react to problems. They have enough to do without getting involved in stuff like this.
So, I can't help but wonder what is really going on?
Is there going to be a real test on the dog or is this another sensational news story-channel 2- only one I have seen this on. Wonder what they have against us that they would even carry the story 2 hours away from St. Louis.

If you look at Chris Hayes' recent stories you will see a theme. Apparently he is a supporter of pit bulls. That is why this newscast was over-dramatized in order to get viewers. Yes, there was a complaint against the dog. If anyone would have paused the news story, they would have seen that the ticket issued was actually for a "dog at large", which is basically a no leash law violation. Just like the headlines were about a family dog facing death, then at the end of the broadcast they throw in that the police chief has assured them the dog will not be put to death and will be found a new home.
