I know several people who live at lake Hannah. There are no meth heads, dope heads or drug trafficking going on. This site is full of gossiping pigs who have nothing better to do with their time then slanderize the people that dwell there. It's a good family place. Set aside the negative comments you read & check out the place for yourself. The people I know take pride in their humble dwelling and they are very friendly people. Cherrio!

I enjoy lake hanna and I love to here the positive stuff on here. I do agree thought We do need to clean up those trailers and cabins that are abandoned. But for the people putting negativity in the area. why? Put positive comments on this page. Write all the good things you see happen or that a neighbor helped you with.

It's great place to buy drugs, get ripped off. Or just down right taken advantage of. You can't believe how drug infested the place is. Hell, Look at th people out there, that shoud say something too. It's located part in Iron County and part in St. Francius county. The drug dealers do there business there becasuse they think they are safe there. Which they seem to be.

It's a drug addict/Dealers Holiday out there.

It seemed a lot nicer and the rules followed better under the previous manager! The new manager would rather his trashy friends and relatives do whatever they want, and if you were around when the other Jim was out there, you'd know how downhill the place has went. There wasn't supposed to be any live ins, no metal roofs or buildings, no trashed up lots. Now it's just a shithole! It was nice at one time!

Ok well I skipped a lot of this crap but although there are meth labs out there unless you are looking for one they won't bother you. It's not like they walk around the lake asking people if they wanna buy drugs as far as I know and I have lived there since '09. They do rock the roads but they are having financial issues in regards to people not buying any lots and not paying assessment fees. They have been trying to fix the damns maybe they don't quite know what they are doing but they are trying. The manager Jim is actually a nice guy if any of you took the time to get to know him he has bad days but doesn't everyone? The lake cop now him I have nothing good to say about at all Steve is an ignorant prick and he knows I think that so it doesn't matter that I am not anonymous. I have a lot on the water and it can flood but its your own responsibility to dig drainage they cannot do it for you if its on your property only on common ground which they do have drainage at btw. In regards to thieves if your lot is left unattended lock your stuff up. I personally have guard dogs and do not get robbed at all when I am gone. The reason its dusty out there is because its a gravel road not dirt gravel has dust in it. If they were to pave the roads it would change the lakes status from vacation to residential and then they would have to pay more and then they really wouldn't have any money left. The water in shallow parts can get dirty but that's called "dog days" and every small lake will get a little dirty then. There is nothing wrong with their wells. They also do not have Johnny on the spot nor have they for years they use another company now and I think its that company that doesn't take care of the porta-pottys not the lake. They had to change companies because the other companies kept raising their prices. In regards to people living out there which as I have already said I am one of some people don't have anywhere else to live so don't judge us. The people who live there cause much less trouble then the weekenders who cannot for the life of them follow the rules. The speed limit is 10 mph if you drive 10 the dust isn't so bad. The ATVs can play out on the trails instead of tearing up the roads. I have been there when they rock the roads the rain washes it away that is why they move around rock because they cannot rock the road every time it rains. My dad lived out there before when the other Jim was manager as well so its not Jim Hortons fault he's trying. He has tried to get the people who have trashed lots to clean up and has gotten some of them to. He cannot throw them out if they own their lot. I hope all you people who trash him get stuck and have nobody to pull you out of the mud and have to call Jim to help you with his truck because hes nice enough to come out and help you when no one else will. I think I have made this dang post long enough I'm out.

I do have one more thing to add one of the lots that was flooded this last time was Chuck Horton's lot yes that's right Horton as in Jim's brother you know that he wouldn't flood his own brothers lot on purpose it was an accident. His brother had to stay with him until his place was no longer underwater. It's a risk you take having a place on the water.

ive live here since 2004 and its not a bad place at all its nice and quiet but i get annoyed when you got these kids think its okay for them to drive like an idiot during the week when no ones down here but other than that i never HAD stolen from my lot nor had any problems with anyone.. the only downgrade here is that they took all the fun out of the riding area and bull dozed all the ramps down n now trying to cover up the mudd pit bc jim doesn't like it.

Where is this Lake Hanna and can you ski on the lake? And, what happens to those dirt roads when it rains, unpassable?
its in ironton mo. No u can't ski on them. They are no wake lakes. The roads aren't dirt they are gravel. And yes very dusty. We have been swimming and fishing in these lakes for years and no ill effects. But we don't drink it..
