Mr. Obama wants to save money by limiting medical treatment that may not have a successful outcome but who decides that ? Does the government board overrule your doctor ? Will people on the board be doctors?.

Sorry.....did Obama does how he intends to PAY for this nationalized healthcare? Did I miss that segment of this news story OR DID HE NOT EVEN DISCUSS IT?

Now, why is that? Could it be that Obama wants to tax EVERY CITIZEN 10% on EVERYTHING they purchase?

It will start out "incremental" and then build to 10%...a VAT- Value Added TAX on EVERYTHING to pay for 5% of the population and dictate who/what/when/where/if you will get treatments, procedures, appointments.

Read this article in the Jeruselum Post...the tax is frozen at a specific percentage IT CONTINUES TO INCREASE...it nevers goes DOWN! 10% is just to cover 5% of the population!!!! The taxing will continue to increase through the years!

NO to nationalized Healthcare..remember that TAX is ontop of Cap and Tradde Energy TAX (everybody increases their products costs), Stimulus TAX #1 and Stimulus TAX#2 (yes, it is coming!) plus all the other taxes....watch out....taxing per mile driven....is coming.

VOTE OUT DEMOCRATS. They are TAXERS. Vote them out of office. They vote straight party line and show know individual thought process....just vote the party line of taxes, taxes, taxes to spend, spend, spend.

He's trying to pitch it because some states are ALREADY telling the federal government to shove it.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/06/25/st...
Under Arizona's Health Care Freedom Act, which was passed by the state legislature this week, a voting initiative will be placed on the 2010 ballot that, if passed, will allow the state to opt out of any federal health care plan. Five other states -- Indiana, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Dakota and Wyoming -- are considering similar initiatives for their 2010 ballots.

"Our health care freedoms are very much at risk by health care reforms proposed in Washington, D.C.," said Arizona state Rep. Nancy Barto, the Republican legislator who sponsored the measure. "We needed to act as a state to protect our citizens and ensure that they will always be able to buy their own health care and not be forced into a plan they don't want."
Does that mean that the people in Arizona WOULDN’T be taxed for this stupidity? Would the Arizona people have their paychecks PROTECTED from the federal confiscation taxing them on their benefits just to PAY for the lunacy coming from Obama?

How kewel would THAT be, huh?

And 5 other states are following the same road. They’re moving stuff through their own legislature to tell the feds to “get out.” Indiana, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Dakota and Wyoming.

People should help those states move those initiatives forward.

Obama and the democrats were warned. They should have listened to the Tea Party protests.

He's losing the support from the nation, and especially the independents.

THAT'S why he has to take his blather-a-thon on the road.

The nation is turning away from what the democrats are doing.

He's desperate.

The Senate is saying the Climate bill is DOA. As it should be. The science is garbage.

A democrat Congressman Kaptur got 3.5 billion in tax payer money for a DUPLICATE Energy Oversight board in Ohio.

THAT was part of the 330 page amendment on the Climate bill at 3am.

More of your tax money p*ssed down a government rat hole.

Congratulations democrats.

Boy is 2010 gonna suck for you guys.

When the unpatriotic right-wingers see all of these average Americans strongly supporting President Obama's attempt to reform Health Care it must drive them crazy.

Poor "patty" the wannabe jarhead, this is what this POS thinks Americans voted for:
Barack Obama as a state senator in Illinois, voted to require that dental anesthesia be covered by every health plan for difficult medical cases. Today, the requirement is one of 43 mandates imposed by Illinois on health insurance, according to the Illinois Division of Insurance. Other mandates require coverage of infertility treatments, drug rehab, "personal injuries" incurred while intoxicated, and other forms of care.
During Mr. Obama's tenure in the state Senate, 18 different laws came up for a vote and passed that imposed new mandates on private health insurance. Mr. Obama voted for all of them.
2008 study by an insurance-industry supported research organization, the Council for Affordable Health Insurance (CAHI), estimates that mandates increase the cost of basic health coverage by 20% to 50%, depending on the state. Average policies in high-mandate New Jersey cost about $4,000 according to a 2004 insurance survey, much more than the $1,200 charged in low-mandate Wyoming.
States also mandate new categories of eligibility that force small businesses to cover additional dependents. One popular measure is the "slacker mandate," which extends coverage to unmarried dependents under the age of 30.
Mr. Obama says people need more options to purchase insurance outside the workplace. He also says he can draw on his experience as a state legislator to lead a reform of the kinds of special interests that pursue these mandated benefits. Right now Mr. Obama's health-care proposal, like Hillary Clinton's plan, does the opposite by adding federal regulations on top of state laws.

"My plan emphasizes lowering costs," Mr. Obama says. If that is really what he wants to do, he can start by freeing consumers from forced subsidization of the pricey state mandates. Given a choice between the lower costs he promises and subsidized dental anesthesia he has delivered, some would opt for the affordable health insurance and make do with some extra Novocain.

I'm always amazed that you idiot left-wing loons always call anyone who disagrees with you "unpatriotic". You fcking morons are too stupid to comprehend what a true patriot is. If we did away with welfare, all you lunatics would commit suicide because you lack the desire or the intelligence to work for a living.

Some one needs to remind Obama that Communism failed, unions spoiled the auto industry and destroyed education. Government VA health care has failed and so has Medicaid. Medicare is crumbling and Universal Healthcare will bankrupt us and give us mediocre care...as is the case in Canada and most of Europe and Australia.

Funny, when anyone disagreed with the previous administration they were labeled as unpatriotic as well.

By your terms then, you are an idiot as well.

Perhaps if the right voiced these concerns, the "Free Market" would have done away with our current HMO plans.

You must be an Obama supporter. Left wingers love calling everybody that don't agree with them idiots, probably to make them feel better because they know that they, themselves, are devoid of any intelligence, no matter how small.. I’m surprised you even had the ability to turn on your computer. Now go back to sitting on your porch and waiting for the postman to deliver your welfare check, like the rest of Obama's supporters.

Bush supporters were against his amnesty bill, expansion of Medicare and some other issues, but we never called ourselves unpatriotic.

We do label liberals as unpatriotic when they support open borders or special rights for terrorists.

Bush supporters also favor "Open Borders", if they didnt, they would have voted out Bush and his republican congress some time ago while they held the majority.

As for the "rights for terrorist", what rights are you speaking of?

Geneva Convention rights, for starters, for combatants who aren't in uniform. Sickening.
