It is sad... is it not? I am from Anna and I must say the trash does abound. However, not all are like that. There (their thier) are some really good and intelligent people here. Sally... you are funny. I, too, am horrified at the absolute stupidity of most people. I try NOT to fit in here. What you find in the trashier areas are: filthy perverts... drugs... and sorry... but I have to say it... lots of real brilliant 'tough' men (and women) who live to hunt. Toothless, camouflaged and tough because they can kill and animal with a gun. I always wondered what makes men feel so tough about hiding in a blind to kill a little innocent duck...that is tough? Of course, as the argument goes, I am sure they really need it to eat. There for a minute I was agreeing with you. However, there are several people that hunt in my family. All of them have their teeth, advanced education degrees beyond a bachelors degree. Besides, the deer population is out of control!!! Have you ever personally hit a deer with your vehicle, known someone that was killed by a deer hitting their vehicle, etc. Beyond that, this post was about sexual abuse not hunting.

You are correct... this particular discussion was about sexual abuse... but I could not help myself. I know that there is not a logical link between hunting and sexual abuse of a child... but I was joining in on the whole Anna commentaries that are on the other discussion threads. If you read the others... you will see that there are a whole bunch of 'Anna people insults'. I was agreeing with some, defending others and then elaborating.

Now as to the hunting thing...it is wrong to generalize... but it is my opinion based on my observations in life... this type of forum is for opinions, is it not?

Yes, I was sure I would receive comments about the need to hunt because of the over abundant deer population.... Sorry, but I am used to that...and that is every hunter's excuse for enjoying shooting something with a gentle nature. Do bunnies cause wrecks? Squirrels? How about those big turkeys.. they should really die because they are big and can really damage that SUV.. That is really a reason to feel the need to destroy an entire population of something and then parade around in full trash fashion with a mutilated deer on your trashy truck. Perhaps, not you and yours, but that is what I often see. I had a relative to manage a wildlife refuge for many years... and he was sickened by the bloodthirsty nature of most hunters. They would kill it and leave it. It was just the thing to do... and it made you a man to kill a goose from a blind and then go jaunting back to the local bar to wallow in drunkenness with some more brilliant individuals. I know people that have grown up with others that hunt cannot see it from another perspective... they just say... oh there are too many deer... and have you ever been hit by one? No, but I have almost been hit by the drunk people in the trucks...with deer guts oozing out of the back of their truck. Animals are innocent... humans are not. However, humans are always correct, aren't they? Oh, of course then, we will get the religious argument that "well... humans have souls and animals do not"???? It is funny how these brainless arguments just spread and spread... and does anyone ever really think about how stupid what they are saying sounds? Funny... Certain people used to think there were too many certain types of people around... Jews... African Americans.... Native Americans. They thought it was OK to butcher them because there were just too many of them? They were in the way... Many also thought African Americans and Native Americans did not even have souls... so it was OK to try to destroy them as race. That is different, though, right? We would never consider that now would we? I am sorry... I should back down and say yes, there are too many deer... and thus, we should destroy them... so that brainless people with their cellphone stuck to their ear talking about really shallow stuff driving down the road 85 miles an hour do not get their conversation interrupted by a deer crossing the road. Perhaps we should kill everything that gets in our way? Perhaps I do not have a soul because I am so stupid?

you should be very "Embarrassed". This thread was created to discuss the disgusting sexual assault of a minor. However, you have hijacked the thread to address your concerns of hunting. Then in a ridiculous attempt to justify your point you juxtapose hunting and the atrocities taken place on our fellow man. What a despicable attempt at trying to win favor for your position.
Before you respond; I am not a hunter, but I do find it absurd for you to deflect this thread to legally hunting animals when we have a child that has been physically, mentally, and emotionally abused.
