We need to get more doctors to come to are town to stay so we don't have to go 20 to 100 miles or more out of town. We need doctors that will stay. We need special doctors to. It is hard on people who don't have away to go when you have to call someone else to take you. It gets to be costly when you are gone for awhile. Please get some doctors in are town.

Doctors can not make any money in this area. The percentage of people on public assistance in this area is un-godly! There is no money to be made in a laze, dirt poor, area like this.

I'm not on public assistance. I have a college education. I work more than one job and I don't live above my means. That is how you "make it by."

Public assistance is supposed to be just that; assistance. It was meant to be temporary for those who needed it until they got on their feet.

It is now corrupt and all it does is allow generation after generation to breed new generations of lazy, uneducated, sponge-off-the-system bums! Brood mares keep popping out kid after kid to rake in more welfare. Fat, lazy sperm donors don't have enough self-pride, or get-up-and-go to get a real job but they have enough energy to breed like rabbits!

Get a life!!!! If assistance is truly needed then I am all for it, but I'll bet you that 90+ percent of those receiving it are perfectly healthy individuals who are just too lazy to work and provide for the families they are creating.

Doctors do not make hardly anything off of public aid patients. They, in turn, have to stick it to the insured patients to make up the deficit. It is a given that the doctors are going to go where there is a higher rate of insured patients. That certainly isn't going to be in Southern Illinois.

Actually, when a person in texting or just conversing on the internet, it is quite alright to make as many shortcuts to what you are trying to say just to save characters space since only so much is allowed. If you want to correct ppl why not get a job or volunteer grading papers?There are plenty of people who don't know their way around a computer for various reasons. Some don't try to learn for fear of redicule. Some can't spell but it shouldn't keep them from communicating as best they can. Laze and Lazy take up the same amount of character space if I count correctly. I am only giving helpful hints so that the readers can comprehend the message and not get tangled up in the grammatical errors. Nobody has locked the keyboards of the poor spellers. I don't see anyone learning at their own pace. Who says I don't have a job? This part of the country would be in better shape if more attention were put on grammar and spelling. Good grammar/spelling makes a favorable impression and helps convey the message to the reader. When I read a post full of errors, it dilutes the writer's impression. I never said there should not be shortcuts, although I was quite bored reading your post and was taking a shortcut in my own mind when I was reading it.

It seems i struck a nerve. I never said you didn't have a job. I was merely saying you need something to do like grading papers or tutoring instead of living to pick on someone on some random forum who is just trying to fit in. Much like we all are. I feel you also have an obcessive compulsive disorder (in other words anal retentive) which makes you controlling of everyone and everything around you. Bored yet? You know, you are absolutely right, but i don't think it's going to happen. There are too many real good specialists in the surrounding states who want to work and make the big bucks. My son's best friend has been in medical school for six years and has racked up 300,000 in student loans. Unfortunately, he will not be able to pay that money back by working in a small community with low income people being the majority of the patients. I know it's a bad thing but i don't know what the answer would be.
