I currently work for Shy Enterprises and I must say, this company is no scam, they reward you greatly for selling the Kirby. Their trips are amazing and they people are cool and good to get along with. Like most of you, yeah I was suckered into getting in here and no, they don't just hire anyone but I am completely happy to be here. The Kirby itself is an amazing machine, if you think your Dyson or your Hoover is better than it you might as well want to roll over and die now. The Kirby is not just a vaccum machine, it's an all-in-one machine. There is no other machine like it and you may have to buy 5 or 6 other machines to do it's one job..

Their rewards can range from an all expense paid trip to a trip to Cedar Point. It's no scam.

I'm very very curious to know who you are. You worked with us for TWO days and suddenly you're an expert? are you joking? Boy I'm sure glad you know everything, because we're positively lost without you.
Honestly folks, here's the deal. You can make OUTRAGEOUS money at Kirby. The trips, the contests, they're not fake. In order to get them though, you have to produce. Most of the people here who are bitching and ranting and raving about Shy worked for the company a month or less.
You get out of something exactly what you put in. You want to make over a grand a week? you're going to have to work your ass off. If you continue working your ass off, you'll be rewarded handsomely.

so i just got hired and i was supposed to go for orientation and after reading this. im not comfortable going to work for this kind of company, especially with my beliefs. its wrong to go and hire people and sugar coat everything and then find out its all a big scam.. im just glad that i realized this before i got too far into the company

As for bein g shady, we are a WORLD WIDE company that has been in business for over 95 YEARS!!! How would a shady business expand and grow if they were dishonest? You are a person with poor work ethics if you did not get a pay check. What happened? Did you work for a day or two and expect to get a pay? Try working for a full week, be on time for work every day and do your job and you will get paid.

I just recently quit working for Shy, shady ass lying sons of bitchs. i dont mind working hard at all. i just would like to get paid for my time thats all. i sold kirby...never got paid. work 12-16 hours a day.. no money, i overheard HR when they had new hires "you only get paid for what you sell..no salary" NOT LEGAL.. they had me sign papers re assuring their promise of $800 bi weekly.. its all empty promises and broken dreams. I'm not big on this internet blogging shit but I figure I make an exception this time. I currently work for kirby. honestly one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. I make good money there because I put in the hard work to make that money. I worked at forever 21 for almost two years and never got promoted or recieved a raised as I was lead to believe would happen and I did more work than co-managers were capable of now that is scamming....I put the same hard work in at kirby and was promoted in a month. Larry Shy gave me a huge opportunity and I embraced it. If you all want to piss off at your sorry ass legalized slavery per hour job go right ahead...just make sure I recieve the right amount of change when I pay with the bank I make working hard and still having tons of fun. So if that doesn't clear up the bullshit that's being said I'll keep it simple...if you dont know shit don't say shit :)

If Shy is such an honest company then why do they falsely represent their company in their employment ads? I have seen ads for Shy stating that they were looking for "carpet cleaners" and "sports minded people", this is very misleading to a person looking for a job.

I just got home from an interview, then shortly after ran into a friend of mine afterwards. I was so excited to share the good news. My friend then said look the company up because she worked for the company a year ago for 2 days. Shocked, I asked why and she told me its a scam. So in disbelief I got on here and to my surprise i found all this info. Then I called the company back and asked them and boldly the receptionist told me "yes" we are selling vacuums. That is so not what she told me in the interview or advertisement. So for the individual "Shadow" I say to you, I have been around for over 17 years and I dont me 18, 19, 20 or 30, but I do know a LIE is a LIE, and DECEPTION is DECEPTION. However you want to spin it. I don't want to be a part of it and how dare you call someone ignorant for not wanting to be a part of it.
