My husband and I are the ones buying this town. Mr. McKie signed a sales contract with us before he died. There were liens on the property and in the contract signed by both parties, it was agreed that the seller pay the liens which they had aquired. The liens were not removed, and the closing date came and left, we gave them an extension and still- no removal of the liens- so we sued them for breach of contract. Now his widow has decided that she wants to keep the town and has found people to run the adult club and the dance hall for her. In Texas, when you sign a sales contract- you are obligated to sell. We are at the table, ready, willing and able with our contract. This is pure nonsense. It is her responsibilty to pay that water bill- we offered to pay it if she couldn't however. We pay sizeable rents every month and we pay for our water. I have blogs posted on our my space accounts keeping everyone updated on this lunacy.

I'm really trying hard to figure out who's the bigger fool (or idiot). Was this guy McKie playing a joke on you or are you really too stupid to realize that you can't "buy" a town?

By the way, I have twenty miles of Interstate Highway for sale if you're interested.

A friend and I did a roadtrip to check out wispers.
What a DUMP! It's a brokedick building next to a trailer park in the middle of nowhere. Stray dogs roaming around the parking lot. Or at least what they call a parking lot.
You figure if your DUMP is in the middle of nowhere and you still have to "BYOB" they would at least let you in without a cover. Nyet. After paying cover it was a real HOG RACE.
I sure hope they used part of the cover charge to buy some tents or something to cover the SKANKS they had working there.
Have your $$$, gas and trouble. Not worth the time.

It is obvious, that the man above has never been to Wispers! More obvious however, is his ignorance and hatred of folks he doesn't even know. It must be miserable to be such a person.

Maybe stating off with strip malls would help.

Hahahhahaa silly! Everyone knows the Mexicans own the Interstate Highways! Dont believe me? Just click on any of the forums about Immigration Reform and ask anyone of them that have some sort of hispanic title.(Mucho Nacho, Latinos 4 ever ((or now...I dunno)) or Guatemalean) They will tell you they built the Interstates so you cant sell it. LOL

(You actually beat me to the punch on your comment. I was going to sell them Dallas / Ft Worth! HA!)

Well, that town must have cost you everything you own including your computer. Your myspace pages don't work. Is the club still there?

Daily Horoscope for December 6

Pisces

Keep well clear of anything or anyone that looks like being a problem, but at least you can hold your own. This is a marvellous day for taking care of someone who isn't very well at the moment or who needs all the sympathy and understanding you can give them.
