Joe's wife Margaret has appeared to be a saint, let's everyone realize the reason this happen was her extramarital affair. She covered very well. The truth will prevail. Joe is an innocent man. Everyone that knew Joe, knew he was always there for anyone who needed. Joe has more love in his heart than anyone would know. My sympathy to the Mayeaux family. Please find it in your hearts to know that this was an accident, not intentional.

Hey a@#$%^&^. Joe was no saint. Margaret is my cousin. No one deserved what he did to her. All he had to do was get a divorce, but he did not want her to take his money. Also, he is a durghead. You may not know about him getting trouble with drugs. You do not know all the facts. She left behind 2 little girls. Just because his family has money and can buy off the judges, well, she deserved better. jfryou wrote: Joe's wife Margaret has appeared to be a saint, let's everyone realize the reason this happen was her extramarital affair. As we all know Margaret did some drugs as well. This is about an extramarital affair that had been going on sometime with Margaret and her lover. Joe's family did by no means buy off the judges. This was an accident. Joe had no intention to hurt Margaret in anyway.

None of us are angels. No ones marriage is perfect. Joe killed her with their kids in the house. Neither of them were happy and one of them should have left. It just makes me very angry that people think because she had an affair, it gave him the right to take her life and to pretend to take his. I keep hearing, he was nice and went out of his way for people. So did she. I'm sure things will come out of the trial that no one wants to hear. Let me ask you and others this. If your spouse has an affair, should you kill them and take them away from their family and children and then have to go to jail. Everyone loses. Getting a divorce is not fun, but it sure is a lot easier. Everyone goes their own way to make the best of life. Margaret would have been 41 a few days after dying. I made 41 a few months later. She and I will never be able to sit around and watch our girls or share a margarita again. I see what is happening to her family and our kids. Please think before you suggest that someone has a reason to kill someone, it may be one of your family members. An affair is by no means to kill someone.

Joe was trying to take his own life that night and Margaret interceded trying to stop him and there was a struggle and the gun went off hitting her in the chin. This is the absolute truth. Joe had been listening to tapes that recorded Margaret and her lover talking. They were absolutely horribe. It drove him to snap and want to take his own life. Joe did not want to take his children mother life. It was an accident.

Or was it the fact that he was at the camp drinking with his buddies, who riled him up and kept poking fun at the fact she was having an affair, that drove him to go home and do that??

Absolutely not, Joe had been very upset since he found out about margaret's affair. He was not one that would let anyone get him riled up. Joe was a very quiet person. Understand that he did not intend to hurt Margaret in any way, let alone take her life. It was an accident, when she was trying to stop him from taking his own life. The gun accidently weny off hitting her under the chin. Joe would have never taken his little girls mother from them.
