Tweaks needed, but Easley's budget priorities sensible

Teacher pay does need to be brought up with the rest of the nation, but so does the pay for state employees. Easley just wants to give us a meager 1.5 percent raise or something like that - unacceptable.

Easley has pushed more pork and taxes than any governor in NC history. Look it up. He has repeatedly increased the gas tax even in the face of skyrocketing gas prices. He had another increase just a couple of months ago.

We need to trim the budget. Cut taxes. Get rid of useless programs. Cut at least a third of the dead weight state employees.

We need new representation in Raleigh. Democrats have run us into the ground. If you feel Washington needs new, Democrat blood to rejuvenate the country. Then I say we need new Republican blood to rejuvenate the state.

Hey Listen. Sorry Yona, but all CAREER politicians need to go. And about Washington -- the Dems have been running the show for 18 months -- what have they accomplished -- absolutely nothing, except broken PROMISES.
