Interesting, here we have a memorial for police officers that have taken an oath to serve and protect the people. In a five block radius around the memorial are hundreds and hundreds of Illegal Aliens living in that five block radius in Hicksville.

Charles Caputo, president of the state's Fraternal Order of Police don't you think that is an oxymoron; serve and protect, when we have police officers/officials that turn a blind eye when it comes to people that are ILLEGALLY in the U.S.A.? Grow some hair on your chest and do/say something about it. Search Mr. Caputo on how many police officers were killed in the line of duty at the hands of people ILLGALLY in the U.S.A.?!!!

Friend, The police DO want to arrest and deport the illegals, but as soon as it gets to court the judges rule the local authorites are out of their own jurisdiction as immigration is a federal issue, not a local issue.

Just a comment to all those heartless "uneducated morons" who blame the police when they don't do what they want them to do. REMEMBER - THE POLICE DO NOT MAKE THE LAWS, THEY ONLY ENFORCE THEM. What I am trying to imply is for the police officers/officials should say something on how the government is tying their hands behind their backs and how the law is only a revolving door when it comes to ILLEGAL ALIENS violating the laws in my country. It is not a federal problem; the people elected other people whether it is Federal, State or local are to protect the people. That is the most basic function of any government, and our government uses Illegal Immigration as a dividing apparatus against the people to get elected again and again. Illegal Immigration breeds chaos, just look around Europe and see what is happening there. The police should hold press conferences on the criteria of arresting Illegal Aliens. I know many police officers and they all tell me the same thing,“How disgusted they are that they can not uphold the law when it comes to incarcerating Illegal Aliens. The Illegal Aliens just laugh at our police force knowing that in order to get them deported they have to commit murder or rape. Other than that they are free and clear to do as they please.”
