AUSTIN The Texas Ethics Commission imposed a $1,000 fine Thursday against Karen Hadden, the president of No Bonds for Billionaires and an activist who has repeatedly challenged Waste Control Specialties' plan to build in Andrews County.

These groups have cost lots of people jobs in Andrews. These people have no ground to fight the bonds that were publicly voted upon. Yes it was a close vote but it was legal. Andrews need every bit of promotion and advancement it can get.
"WCS officials applauded the ruling, saying it proved Hadden was trying to hide the fact that No Bonds for Billionaires was an Austin-based group instead of a local one" according to spokesman Rickey Dailey.
