How do you knoe that? Did it come from a creditable source?

for some reason i do not believe that. my sister knows the band, but i have been unable to reach her. i should hear by tomorrow. i had posted trying to find out sooner. will post when i hear something.

Kate, that is true. He did hang himself. Very sad. My sister was at the funeral and said that is how he died. Very tragic.

Matt had attempted suicide a couple of years ago. His use of drugs had recently become worse. After a fight with his girlfriend, he decided to hang himself in the bathroom of the pool area of his apt building.

The above comment is right on the money. After the first attempted suicide, Matt moved back to Odessa to try and fix some things. Rather than getting any professional help, his family basically ignored the fact that there son had a problem, and just went about there buisness. When it comes down to it, Matt may not have even told his family that he attempted suicide. So, who even knows? Matts fix for problems was to avoid it at all cost, even if it meant burning a bridge or two. Matt was scared of confrontation, and if he had been taught that it is ok to open up about your feelings, he might still be here. Hopefully this comment doesn't upset anyone, because this is the truth, and nothing but the truth.

He is missed and it breaks my heart. I keep him in my thoughts everyday.
