So sad...I can't even imagine this. We refuse to have a pool for this very reason. Despite the fun you can have most of the time, I'd be a nervous wreck 99.9% of the time. What a horrible loss!

Curious fact, a few years ago they had a poll asking parents the thing they worried about the most when it comes to their child(ren), the first was abduction while drowning was barely on the list. And according to the stats from this poll, drowning was sadly the most common occurance, while abduction is exceedingly rare! I wish I could find a link to this poll!! Always be careful parents, no pool is too small for tragedy! Best regards to the family!

Rest in peace beautiful,Gabrielle. You are missed by so many. Gary and Renate, you are a very strong family and I am so sorry this had to happen to you. You love your children and grandchildren with a passion so fierce is can be felt on the outside. You are both truly amazing. Amber, when I heard about Gabby, I had this overwhelming urge to give you a hug. No mother should ever lose her baby. You are such a GOOD person, it shows from the inside out. You can tell you have a love for life and everyone in your life. I am sure Gabby would have been the same. Again, I am so sorry! I will continue to pray for each and everyone of you you everyday.
