They think speeding may have been the reason. What a shame and such a waste. They could have killed a whole family if they had hit anther car.
SLOW down people and watch what you are doing!

The driver, 20-year-old Dietrich Allen Moren, lost control of his 2008 Ford Mustang and crossed over the center median, hitting a tree. The Coon Rapids man suffered minor injuries.

That's more than just out of control, as there are no streets above 45 mph.

I'm starting to wonder how a 20 year old affords a new street rod Mustang.

He proved one thing though, as it has been proven a millions times, drivers always live because they throw the vehicle in position to cushion themselves.

This will sacrifice anyone in passenger seat.
I don't even have to see the car, and I can draw the picture detailed.

Wake up people, if you want to sacrifice your ride, leave and do it by yourself.

If it was my kid you killed, you would not need a hospital. Would you stand up for it? On Tv? And make billboards on the streets showing the scene? With the last thing you said 5 seconds before impact?

Lets hope so, because you guys think your hot shit on the city streets until your bleeding last minutes air.

Then you start to care.

Don't second guess my intentions.
I survived a crash as a passenger over 110 mph into 2 solid steel 24" dia poles holding up the first sign you see coming into Las Vegas. It was on the opposite side of the freeway with median in between.

We made headlines, as the car was ripped to shreds. Even the engine.
I had already died twice in the ambulance, and was willing to go.

This happened Nov 1971, and I still recall every detail. And so will You.

So never tell people you don't recall, because you'd be fkg lying.

Anyone that thinks that this is an accident is in total denial of the facts.

An accident is shitting your pants in rush hour. But you ate at Pizza Hut, and therefore deserve it.

There is no such thing as an accident.
You can avoid the threat as well as the hit.
Just drive.

WOW all you guys are absolutely ridiculous! Don't make assumpstions on the stuff you read in the papers or watch on the tv. People turn and make-up things to make a story better. How about this? You talk to someone that knows exactly what's going on before you get on here and act like a tough guy. Dietrich is a great guy and so was Steve. I just think unless you actually know both of them you can't make assumptions on them

and mr. pissed.. Like I said in my other post. you dont know dietrich to even dare to call him spineless. maybe it was god that made him black out. and regardless of how ripped and shredded up steves side was on car, there was a high chance he wouldnt have made it regardless

So, the truth is finally revealed. Dietrich was huffing. The problem is the Dietrich has not learned his lesson. He got a speeding ticket 3 days after the accident. Got a minor alcohol consumption 5 months after and then drug posesstion 2 days after the alcohol consumption. Also, why is he still driving. He didn't even have car insurance at the time of the accident. Why is he not in jail? No, Steve wouldn't have made it even if he had his seat belt on. Warning for the rest of Dietrichs friends, don't ride with him.
