Afghan Riots Over Quran-Burning: 2 Days, 20 Dead

There are 67 comments on the www.eagletribune.com story from Apr 3, 2011, titled Afghan Riots Over Quran-Burning: 2 Days, 20 Dead . In it, www.eagletribune.com reports that:

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — Afghans rioted for a second day yesterday to protest the burning of a Quran in Florida, killing nine people in Kandahar and injuring more than 80 in a wave of violence that underscored rising anti-foreign sentiment after nearly a decade of war.

The desecration at a small U.S. church has outraged Muslims worldwide, and in Afghanistan it further strained ties with the West. On Friday, 11 people were killed, including seven foreign U.N. employees, in a protest in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif.

Everywhere sin is increasing to an appalling degree. The pride of man leads him to discard his God and attempt to make a paradise of earth. He has so far succeeded only in making it a vestibule of hell, where impiety, immorality, and the worst passions have free scope; wars rage that are more terrible than any yet heard of, the majority of mankind suffers poverty and slavery, and all without the comfort which faith alone can impart.

Nobody should be given the right to judge a religion different of his. And if someone would have burned the Bible..I dont think Christians around the globe would be happy. Even though I doubt they would have just go around and kill innocent people. What happen just added another reason to the list of "we want to kill"
shame these killers never thought it could have been their father, brother, mother, sister or daughter being killed
Wish mankind would realised they are actually bringing the end of the world by destroying the human kind

Muslims Burn Bibles Routinely and Often

By Bernie on 08 Sep 2010

If I saw a bear in the woods, I would want it to cuddle me and lick my face; however if I went over to the bear and began cuddling and licking its face, I doubt that the bear would respond in kind. How come the Golden Rule won't work here?

You remember the Golden Rule? From Matthew 7:12: "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."

I know what you are thinking: "Bernie, you idiot, the Golden Rule is not meant to be applied to savage animals. Being nicey-nice to bears will not get you any reciprocity."

In response to my article Burning the Quran is a Good Thing, reader ghoppe from Canada left this suggestion: "I support the separation of Church and Hate. I think all so-called "Christians" who think this burning is a good idea should take a closer look at Matthew 7:12."

Thanks for the suggestion bubbala, however it does not work for barbarians. And certainly it should never be applied against an enemy during war.

Almost all Muslim countries forbid the building of new churches. We have permitted them to build thousands of new mosques here in the US; however that hasn't and won't change a damn thing over there.

Almost all Muslim countries forbid Muslims from converting to another religion. Thousands of non-Muslims are allowed to convert to Islam here in the US; however that hasn't and won't change a damn thing over there.

Christians and Jews are asked, "How would you like it if Muslims burned the Bible?" Well, here's the problem: we haven't burned any Qurans for hundreds of years (UPDATE 2 Apr 2011). But in that same period Muslims have burned millions of bibles. They still do it every day.

Do you, dear reader, recall reading any of the following headlines:

2005: Saudi Arabia Desecrates Hundreds of Bibles Annually 1

2006: Muslim Students Urinate, Spit On Then Burn Bible 2

2007: Christians in Gaza Fear for Their Lives as Muslims Burn Bibles and Destroy Crosses 3

2008: Muslims burn Bible in Pakistan 4
The truth is, it happens every day somewhere in the world. Do you know why we don't hear of it here? Two reasons:

The Liberal Media does not like reporting anything critical of Islam (recall the cowardice of our newspapers in not publishing the Danish Cartoons)

If our newspapers had to print barbaric acts committed by Muslims on a daily basis there would be no room to print the local news.
For centuries the US has been nicey-nice to these vicious animals. When is the Golden Rule going to kick in? When are we going to get treated as we have treated them?WHEN IS THE USA GOING TO START LOOK OUT
FOR THE USA!!!!!!!!!!THESE PEOPLE ARE BRAINWASH AND SICK DOGS!!!!!!!!!!

Quotes from the Qur'an and Hadith

on war, violence, infidels, and unbelievers

The terrorist element in Islam may not be shared by most Muslims but it cannot be denied it is a part of Islam and prevalent in countries that have an Islamic government. The radical fundamentalists cannot be ignored or denied as part of this religion, which influence becomes just as much social and political as it is religious. Certainly it is true that not all Muslims are terrorists, however the majority of Terrorists are Muslim.

To compare Christianity or any other religion is like apples and oranges. As Christians we do not practice the Old Testament but the teachings of the New Testament, by Christ and the apostles. so any arguments to try and castigate Christians for doing the same fail miserably.

Recently the Spokesman for the Taliban said,“Those youths who did what they did destroyed America with their airplanes they’ve done a good deed.” He went on to say “THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF YOUTH WHO LOOK FORWARD TO DEATH LIKE THE AMERICANS LOOK FORWARD TO LIVING.”

In the book of Proverbs the God that they say they obey says,“all those who love death hate me.” Just a interesting observation, how do the leaders get his followers to do what he will not.

Surah 2:256 “Let there be no compulsion in Religion.” This would be a rational position if practiced as a standard, however Muslims disallow the Bible (as well as other books of religion) in their countries and do not give people a choice. They do not want to engage in dialogue or allow freedom of choice when they are in control. To present the Bibles Gospel is tantamount to aggression, so one is labeled an infidel, and the use of force can be used to restrain him. The rest of this verse says “Truth stands out Clear from Error: whoever Rejects Evil and believes in Allah hath grasped, the most trustworthy Hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth And knoweth all things.” This verse seems to imply that those who embrace Islam willingly are accepted.

Why is it so hard for Muslim to become a Christian or join with another religion? Mohammed said,“Whoever changes his Islamic religion, kill him.”(Hadith Al Buhkari vol. 9:57) This command is practiced in almost all Islamic Fundamentalist countries today.

While the Qur’an says not to begin with hostilities, and Allah does not love the aggressor, it is not acceptable when Islam is refused. For it teaches not to turn away and bless but “the one who attacks you, you attack him in like manner...whoso defendeth himself after he hath suffered wrong, there is no way (blame) against them.”

Sura 26:227 “Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of God, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take!”

To MUSLIMS DOGS:

An error you make is to conflate Islam and liberalism. Islam is eminently conservative. Islam rejects anything liberal. Read the writings of Jefferson to them and they will begin to vibrate with jihad.

Islam is a social system. Mohammed designed it like that. Islam seems to be more insidious nd pernicious even than Nazism or Stalinism, neither of which lasted a century, while Islam has spread and destroyed culture for 14 centuries.

Christianity post-Constantine, post-Nicaea, was also a system of imperialist social control. However, I separate this from the real teachings of Jesus. I as a pagan/Hindu see Jesus as a real acarya, inspired teacher, holy man, quite possibly God (Vishnu) in human form. On the other hand, I see Mohammed as possibly the most evil human who ever lived.

Right now is not a time for Christians, Jews, Hindus and pagans to dispute with each other. There is a global jihad afoot, brethren...

And... Do you Christians realize that between Christianity, Judaism and Hinduism, Muslims hate Hinduism the most? India is on the front line against global jihad, and has been for centuries. Keep that in mind. Cultivate positive ties and thinking with India.

Recognize all who fought valiantly against the expansionist Islamoimperialist threat: Serbs, Nubians, Spanish, Persians, Greeks, Hungarians, Hindus, Jews...

I've read the NT a few time's and have come to the conclusion that he wasn't perfect despite what he said. In fact he manages' to break at least 2 of the 10 commandment's,giving that it's written that if you break one you have broken them all, then he broke them all. He had stolen a Donkey and he had a problem with honoring his mom, he also has a habit of being angry at people which is not very loving. Why not separate the violent crimes of a few misguided souls and our prophet who was nearly perfect.
Those who saw the Prophet Muhammad could not help but admire his appearance and, if they were unprejudiced, acknowledge his truthfulness. For example, Adbullah ibn Salam, the most renowned Jewish scholar of the time, believed in him at his first sight of him, saying:‘One with such a face cannot lie.’ Before claiming Prophethood, the Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace and blessings, was well off and had a respected place among his community. However, he had to confront all kinds of hardships and persecutions after Prophethood and spent for his cause whatever he had. His enemies slandered him, mocked him, beat him, expelled him from his homeland and waged war on him. He bore all such cruel treatments and hostilities without complaint and asked God Almighty for the forgiveness of even his enemies. A lying, deceitful one cannot have a large, dedicated following who are ready to sacrifice themselves for him. The followers of Moses betrayed him when he left them for forty days to receive the Torah on Mount Sinai, and began to worship a golden calf which Samiri made for them. Even after so many years of intellectual and spiritual training in the desert, except for two God-fearing men, they did not obey his order to fight against the Amalekites, the people of Goliath. As for Jesus, upon him be peace, one of his most devoted twelve followers betrayed him and attempted to submit him to his enemies. But the followers of Muhammad, upon him be peace and blessings, known as the Companions, were so devoted to him that they sacrificed for him their lives and properties.

This is an absurd argument when you are attempting to defend your "prophet" who is documented as a mass murder, organized crime boss, genocidal criminal, pedophile and rapist.

And his social system prescribes the desetruction of culture, the curtailment of freedom, and the death of pagans who refuse conversion. The ensuing mayhem is ongoing for 14 centuries now, and we're tired of it.

Mass Murdering? Wasn't everyone in those days kill to survive? Our prophet made battles and wars on his enemies, but everyone has done this from Moses, to Krishna, to George Washington, etc...
Pedophile? How so? Back in those days marrying young girls was seen in a different light. Many figures in the Bible and the Torah have old men who have married girls as young as eleven. It was ok in those days..
Evils of the bible, Torah, and every other holy books.
God caused sibling rivalry by favoring Abel over Cain, with absolutely no attempt at justification. This act of favoritism led to Abel’s death. Genesis 4:3-5
God commands Hagar go back into servanthood and bear children for her master though she does not want to. Genesis 16:7-9
Genesis 38:10 God murders Onan for refusing to commit incest with his sister in law.
Exodus 12:29 God repeatedly tells Moses exactly what calamity he will next visit upon the Egyptians if the Pharaoh does not allow the Israelites to be set free from slavery. Then he tells Moses (also repeatedly) that he will harden Pharaoh’s heart, so that he will refuse to allow the Israelites to go, thus bringing a calamity upon his own people, as well as showing him the awesome power of the Israelites’ Lord. This occurs over and over, bringing calamity upon calamity upon the Egyptian people. What is troubling about this verse is that when god “hardens the pharaoh’s heart” he is interfering with the Pharaoh’s free will and ultimately bringing punishment on the Egyptians for something they are not responsible for. As a final punishment god decides to kill all the first born of Egypt. The lord reduced himself to murdering innocent kids when he could have simply freed the Israelites himself with his “omnipotent” power.
God punishes children for the sins of their fathers, unto the third and fourth generations. Punishing a child for the sins of their ancestors is not very just. Exodus 20:5&34:7
Handicapped people must not approach the altar. Leviticus 21:16-23
Numbers 16:35 God killed 250 Levite princes who disagreed with Moses’ leadership. He was so bloodthirsty that he wanted to slay more until he was talked out of it. Later he put a plague upon 14,700 Jews who thought there was something wrong in killing 250 princes.
That was crimes in the Torah, if you want me to list some more, just ask...
Jesus, in all his "God incarnate" wisdom, contradicts himself:
Jesus consistently contradicts himself concerning his Godly status. "I and my father are one." (John 14:28) Also see Philippians 2:5-6 Those verses lead us to believe that he is a part of the trinity and equal to his father being a manifestation of him. Yet, Jesus also made many statements that deny he is the perfect men, much less God incarnate. Take the following for example: "Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God" (Matthew 19:17). "My father if greater then I." (John 14:28) Also see Matthew 24:26 Clearly, Jesus is denouncing the possibility of him being the Messiah in those three verses.
Jesus said, "whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire" (Matthew 5:22). Yet, he himself did so repeatedly, as Matthew 23:17-19 and Luke 11:40 & 12:20 show. Clearly Jesus should be in danger of hell too?
Does Jesus support peace, or war? Matthew 5:39 "Resist not evil, but whoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." Also note Matthew 6:38-42 & 26:52 where Jesus teaches non-resistance, Non-violence. Now read (Luke 22:36-37) Where Jesus commands people to take arms for a coming conflict.(John 2:15) Jesus uses a whip to physically drive people out of the temple.
Even many of the staunchest defenders of Jesus admit that his comment in Matthew 10:34 ("I came not to send peace but a sword") contradicts verses such as Matthew 26:52 ("Put up again thy sword into his place: for all that take the sword shall perish with the sword").
