The town has in years past with other development projects has been a stalemate causing potential developers to squash tewksbury as place to do business. The boards expected too much in return before they would approve the projects, case in point the old Marshalls complex accross from Picadilly Pub ie-sidewalks, trafffic lights ect the towns attitude was take, take...but the developers know "You've got to give a little take a little if you want to get a little lovin"...
We shall wait to see if the town will screw's this up

Clearly this is a step in the right direction from the past. Keep in mind that the Town has both newer people on boards and is under new leadership and guidance via a new, professional and very pro-active Town Manager. We have newly voted overlay districts supplementing zoning on Main St. providing development incentive. There is no reason we cannot strive for the best while still being reasonable. This is a positive endeavor for our Town which I hope is both supported and meets with success.
