That's all well in good, but why wait until Ed McMahon is DEAD to give him this award??? He graduated in 1940, for crying out loud. Why wait until NOW, as opposed to doing this for him in 2000? Makes NO sense.

It is no surprise to me that Dee Dee O'Brien was elected as a member of the distinguished Alumni Club of LHS. I've known her since she was very young and she has always a lovely person who had a great love of animals. It would not surprise me if she had become a top director of PETA. Merrimack Valley is lucky to have an organization like CHALLENGE.

PS: Too bad the Sun didn't list all the recipients through its history and of their accomplishments. Obviously the don't feel it would benefit today's students. How wrong they are in their incomplete ways. They always do this to us.

Yes Ed McMahon would have been nice when he was alive. He really went along way after LHS. Maybe from now on they can elect someone while they are alive to receive the award.

How the hell would a listing of names "benefit today's students"? Stories have run in prior issues of the paper discussing the accolades of that year's recipients. This is a story about THIS YEAR'S class. Geez, some people complain just to complain.

Daily Horoscope for November 24

Capricorn

The Moon enters poetic Pisces today, giving you the gift of words. Those of you who play a musical instrument will find your sound is deeper and contains more feeling; release everything that you have been holding in for the past few days. Even if it means engaging in primal scream therapy in your back yard, it's time to speak.
