Wichita Bus System Needs $210,000
“We're having our problems like everyone else in meeting our fuel budget and being able to keep our vehicles gassed up”
Pumped up fuel prices are now wreaking havoc with Wichita's city budget. The transit system is asking for thousands of dollars to stay on the roads. via KAKE-TV Wichita

Call me simple minded, but maybe raise the rates? Why should people who gain no benefit from the use of public transportation be forced to pay for those that do, through taxation?
Everyone else is paying higher prices for fuel... why shouldn't those that take the bus do likewise? Idiots! I'm surrounded by a pestilence of idiocy. |

You can all but count on the City passing this on to every citizen instead of just the ones that use the service.
Im sure the reason will have something to do with the bus riders not being able to afford a price increase, but the rest of us still have to put out the money for gas for our vehicles. |
