I am a current member, past president, and one of the founding members of the BigRiver chapter of A.B.A.T.E. of Il. a bikers right organization. Kevin (Poopy) has done a good job of bringing money(along with other biker friendly businesses) to Savanna, a town that has little else to offer. Most of the factories have closed. Other than bikers and boaters what is there? As far as the bike clubs, dont judge a book by its cover, There are alot of good guys in these clubs!! Some happen to be friends of mine. Its sad when any group is singled out to pick on just because they are different from the norm. Be glad Savanna has the bikers. They spend alot of much needed money here. Who's next to be singled out? How about those little old ladies with the funny hats, they look like trouble makers to me lol

Nick I absolutely agree. For those of you who live and work in Carroll County, take these things into consideration. Would your job be available without the revenue coming in from these people?
Not only does Poopys bring in a high number of bike riders of all kinds, in my travels, Wisconsin, San Diego, Florida, I have seen several people wearing Poopys apperal that are not bikers! Do you work at one of restraunts, hotels, grocery stores, camp ground? I promise you most of these business would not see the success they are without the people being brought in for poopys. |
