The liberal agenda at work, they couldn't take our guns so they aim at taking away our ability to purchase ammunition.

What's next? Men in brown shirts conducting house to house searches for caches of illegal ammo?

if you aren't using a gun illegally what do you have to fear? sure you wont be able to get ammunition for your elephant gun, and if you are a felon or drug dealer you shouldn't be using a gun anyway.

Do you apply the if you aren't acting illegally "what do you have to fear" standard in all areas? Since your life and actions are not illegal, any government rule or regulation is fine with you? Or did you just not think through the implications of what you wrote in your haste to be sarcastic?

This is due to the mindset that we have becomed brainwashed into thinking: that being armed in this United States is dangerous. If our soldiers were armed on post at Fort Hood the other day, maybe not so many of our brave men and women would have died. They needed the local police to come to their rescue and look what happened.

Our soldiers should be allowed to carry while on base as well as at home just as the Second Amendment allows for. Go to the Ordnance Shop (make a special trip if you have to) and sign the letter of support to repeal this stupid law.

More guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens curtail crime not create more. Do your research. Get off you duffs and do something. Get away from you televisions.

Anyway, that's what I think.

I should add, don't go to or allow your children to go to the brainwashing institutions until they/you are educated on such matters as early US history and on the Constitution and the Bible. Maybe they/you might have half a chance of coming out with their/your brains in tact.

For the uneducated within our midst, seemingly the vast majority, guns are a tool of the criminal and military, and perhaps the "murderous hunter"....the fact is the gun is intended to be the stock of the general populace citizen, as a deterrent to crime and abusive government. our great country was created as a result of an ideal of the armed citizen, that would be able to thwart oppression and come to the aid of their neighbor. "the redcoats are coming" kicked this country into gear when the british came to take away the arms of the colonists, and deny them of their ability to defend themselves from tyrrany. the abusive powers, even when dutifully charged with your protection, are quick to become the arm of the oppressor, and the founding fathers of the usa knew this. thus your right to keep and bear arms was codified. BEWARE! the redcoats are back, and they are taking away your ammunition in a concerted effort to destabilize our great country and turn us all into subservient masses. Without ammo, we are without arms. without arms, we are at the mercy of the criminal and the oppressor. the police are not there to keep the peace, rather they are their to perpetuate their own authority while criminalizing the general populace. the military as well as the police, cannot be relied upon, since they are subject to the control of their superiors, who historically will become tyrants. history is repeating itself, and we are all bearing witness. BEWARE!

"doomed to repeat history"
You got it right close enough.
Those of us that have served or are currently serving have taken an oath. That oath includes proteecting and defending the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foriegn and domestic.
If we remember this oath if or when you are given an unlawful order that you will not follow that order. Matter of fact, it is your duty to not follow unlawful orders. Prove me wrong please.

Oh the sky is fallling, the sky is falling....This law signed by a Republican Governor will make no difference to the law abiding gun owner. Remember, before President Kennedy was killed, you could buy guns through the mail. That idiotic law was changed so you had to go to an in state gun store and buy it in person. That law didn't make any difference to the law abiding citizen. Stop watching Glenn Beck, et.al and relax.

Yes, Gunny I do.....All I have to do is look at What Bush/Chenney did by way of the Patriot Act. Secret Courts (FISA), mortgages, home/cell phone records can be looked at without a warrant and on and on and on. It also gives authorization of indefinite detentions of immigrants; searches through which law enforcement officers search a home or business without the owner’s or the occupant’s permission or knowledge; the expanded use of National Security Letters, which allows the FBI to search telephone, e-mail, and financial records without a court order; and the expanded access of law enforcement agencies to business records, including library and financial records

Where you complaining about that and writing to your congressman and senators? I sure hope so, but somehow I doubt it.

First our rights as parents on how you raise our children (polite, mannerly, respectful), then our water rights (send it down to Southern California for their washing of cars and their lovely grass), now our rights to obtain ammunition. Talk about a government takeover. We have helped many countries, including the one we are fighting a war with, to become free from government hostility and give the people the right to have a say. This now shows that our own government wants us under their thumb without any imput from "we the people". I don't think most laws should be put in place without the say of the people and not the one's who are lining their pockets with out hard earned money either. I certainly will be signing the letter to go to our "brown nosed" governor, and no I did not vote for him (million dollar smiles don't cut it).

true, as by modern standards the colonists were little more than terrorist, however, the ideal of freedom remains, and our flag has stood the test....a bastion of freedom that the world has never before seen. a fine line drawn in the sand, the freedoms we share in our sacred bill of rights must never be rendered asunder.

This bill does not effect my elephant shells(yet) just my personal side arm, and if I were a felon or drug dealer I would not give a crap about what the new law had to say. Knowing that you don't seem to have one would only make my visit to your home less hazardous to my health thank you very much

I have read the comments that have been written on this subject and come to the conclusion that the liberals can't be helped and the rest of us need to take care of business. No letters to people that don't read them. No begging for what is ours. Just like we did in 1776 we need to take this country back from the liberal scum that are running it and put an end to the Muslim terrorist in the not so White House. Everything that the anti gun bunch does should be sent to every military man and woman to make them aware of what they have to come home to and let them decide who they want to fight for.
you said everything i could ever want to say right there... Just got one question... wheres the meeting place?
