Waa, waa waa, I used to get handouts but I don't know with Bloomberg as mayor. Waa, waa. He has done outstanding things to improve this city - improve its housing stock and quality, improve its economy, improve its safety, improve its cultural institutions, and banned indoor smoking, thank goodness. It is a myth to say that middle income workers can't afford NY, there are plenty of nice neighborhoods affordable by the middle class. We would all be lucky if he is elected governor.

yeah we'd all be better off if he was governor then maybe spitzer would hook him up with his bitc-. then he'd be out of our lives for ever!! mike sucks he's all about fortune 500 company's and giving all his developer friends other peoples land & business's to steal!! yeah i could afford 5 apartments on the uws but what does that mean when your rights are abused and the man gives 2 craps about schools, cops and fireman . i own a sucessfull business and i think he blows!! im sucsessfull because of my hard work and not anything from him , raise the taxs , congestion pricing, raise tolls, beat down the poor &small business owners, it's good for the city right? we'll i think if washington was alive today he would deport mayor mike back to his big mansion in bramuda . go away mr lame duck and never come back

Bloo31mberg has not made this City better he has destroyed it in favor of extremely wealthy people. I'm not poor, but if I didn't have a place to live, I couldn't afford one now & I've lived in NYC my entire life except for short periods when I was younger.
And the schools are worse now that he controls them no matter what Joel Klein says - the whole thing is disgusting & I'll be glad when hes gone.

Bloomberg has made the city impossible for anyone of moderate income. I'm not poor & I coudn't afford to rent or buy a place if I didn't already have one.
And the schools are not better now that the City controls them. All thats happened is that the parents supposed ly have a person appointed by ? to go to - its hard to find those parent reps.
I'll be glad when hes gone & I'm sorry he even managed to get a new stadium for the Yankees which the taxpayers of NYC are paying for & no stadium has ever made money for NYC or any city.

The huge hole in lower Manhattan, almost 7 years after 9/11, is testiment to the mind-numbing bureaucracy that Bloomberg presides over.

Go to hell, Bloomberg, you elitist, hypocritical, nasal, freak.

Although I approve Bloomberg's efforts to revitalize the city, he seems to be catering particularly to the upper class. There is no affordable middle-class housing -- either you live in a luxury condo, or you live in the ghetto. Middle-class affordable housing must increase, as must cheap housing for "artistic types" close to major cultural centers in NYC.

I'd like to see Bloomberg use zoning to correct the situation, and not merely pander to rich folks. But in general, I like Bloomberg's efforts to revitalize NYC.

We also need more new subway lines to service these new communities (Red Hook has very little public transportation).

Many people don't realize that Mike Bloomberg worked hard in high school and after school worked in a laundry shaking farts out of bedsheets.

Previously my Dec 07 posting.
----------
Can't see how war-without-end is the answer.
----------
Now July 9, 2008 Jackson foul mouthing of Obama
respecting his preaching on absent dads. He
was upset at Obama not keeping a whiner tradition
alive.

Feeling diminished (lesser beings) shakedown artists of another era who whine angerily as I predicted they would (see below) with the liklihood of Obama leaving them in the dust.
Sour and foul mouthed reverend spouting chaps
left on the dungheap of history
----------

Putting an end to War without end - draining us
of our finest and treasure. Monies needed here
at home to rebuild America not Iraq, Israel,
Egypt etc. Real focus should be on getting down and dirty with BinLaden's family who have knowledge on where their crazed family member is.

I'm excited by what Barak brings to the table.
I hope ladies/Latinos/others who are bent on casting their vote(s) for Hillary Clinton think long and hard with what is at stake. Her years of support for people who drain our blood and given the chance will be obliged to pardon Pollard as like pardoning of friends in Rockland county and Marc Rich by her hubby.
She will be unable to break free from the lobbyist whom she is beholden to. Sold her soul to ... maybe she'll be able to fool many others ... so sad.

Hillary and McCain not the caliber to interact with persons across the world. world wide. They
lack presence - McCain's arm movements the one note Johnny on war and Hillary head bobbing as she looks up to leaders towering over her.
Leader of the Free World. We'd feel diminished
were such a scene come to be.

Just imagine ...
an Obama presidency what it would do to excite peoples everywhere in a belief that the USA was back once again on a path striving to be the hope of mankind.

With a talented human rising up to lead us into
a future filled with promise, a leader of the free world - capable being able to match wits with anyone - one who speaks to the point so that his message is clearly understood.

Joke.
Were Obama to pick Ms Clinton as VP then we would
have :) two black presidents in the WH. Husband
Billy is a problem not worthy of considering.

Tawana Brolly Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and such
whiners would be quited and their brethern left feeling a prideful respectability from such presidency - be akin to those whom John F. Kennedy gave pride and making his people proud.

With 85% of the world's people being non white
what a signal to send to friend and foe alike.
Son of an an enslaved people rising up within a short number of years - a miracle I yearn and hope for.
