Wait....there it is now--the post praising Michele Torr's Les Papillon video is now visible. What fun this is. Isn't life grand. Enjoyed reading Chekhov's Ward 6 recently too.

Great video....haven't viewed Carmen villani videos in quite awhile....this was posted some months ago, an interesting interview (even wihtout knowing Italian); did notice though that Carmen Villani gives mention of Cocky mazzetti--I think they did some songs together in early 60's maybe--and this video features one of her best videos. Really enjoyed it; it's too bad Carmen Villani didn't continue with singing--her bio online explains she went into erotic films in the 1970's:

Carmen Villani a ''Ieri e oggi'' canta ''Congratulazioni a te''e ''Due viole in un bicchiere''.

This is one of my favorite all-time songs, and the album cover has to be my very favorite, said so about five years ago when first finding it, and still think it is my favorite album cover of all:

Yeah, that song is fantastic too! Brucia--"Come and get it"; lol! Too funny. Carmen Villani must have been pushing the envelope way back then. Great sounding song.

Her "I Love You Amore" is a classic. This is an obscure one, hadn't seen before, it's pretty funny from way back then (I like the song--Carmen Villani laso has an album with that song as the title and a great cover photo):

ADN published the letter (post #1) Dec. 28th. Unfortunately, it was Saturday's edition, which is the least read I think. But at least it's in there--they didn't publish the submission preceding that about Al-Anon/AA.

Pearl Nestor wrote under my letter online (ADN):

"After we invade their homes and take over their hunting territories I wonder where the last bears will go to survive. We continue to build roads, build cities, every inch of this Earth owned and sold and bought by someone, whether it's a private citizen, city, or country. Think about it, every inch of this tiny globe owned by somebody or controlled by some entity. They say the American Indian lost their lands because they didn't have a lawyer that held the deed. The American Indian never even thought that they could own the land because they lived in such harmony with it, they were a part of it's natural systems. Who could own the sky even? It was that much of an absurd thought. Who would have thought that it would come to this that even nature herself has no room to live and her animals no room to roam? The greed of the human's is harmful, because what happens to our lesser brother's will be visited upon us ultimately. Yes, our animal's are our lesser brother's."

I definitely sympathize with bears plight of encroachment, but Pearl Nestor evades the point. Is it thereby ethical to set human beings up with a false sense of security? That's what happens when U.S. wildlife officials advise us to rely solely on bear spray. Whay not tell the truth, that it would be far better for the human if they have lethal means just in case their attempts at deterrence fail? That way they can make a fully informed, honest opinion instead of being misled unwittingly.

Yes, humans can then choose if they want to place a higher value on the bears life than their own.

Post #35:

Then Topix shouldn't pose as a forum where people expect to participate in a fair manner. It's unethical to delete people's posts and thereby give an entirely different meaning. If someone is violating decorum then by all means remove the posts, but to do so based on content, because you disagree with their opinion is abuse of power. Otherwise capitalist oligarchy's have the only opinions worth viewing. RIP Hugo Chavez!

Yawn? It's such a pleasant sounding song--love the chorus behind her; in this video, Michele is seen singing the first half of it:
