The Martelle Fire Department

I am not on the Martelle Fire Department, but I know alot of the folks that are. They are hard-working people that give their own personal time to serve and protect not only the community of Martelle, but the surrounding communities. They have expanded their equipment greatly over the past few years. They bought a new rescue/pumper truck, they bought a newer/used pumper truck, they got brand new bunker gear, they got a new set jaws of life set, and they've added several new member over the past several years as well. But the point I am trying to make is that even though they have the equipment they need, they still need donations. There members risk their lives to protect you and me. They also do stuff I would not be willing to do, and I bet you wouldn't either. Could you strap on an air pack and go into a burning building in 90 degree heat in the middle of the summer? How about driving out in the middle of a storm to spot severe weather? I'm in my basement everytime we get severe weather, as I'm sure alot of people here in Martelle especially the older folks here. My point is they need I support. Whether you donate $20 or $200. So support those who protect us and put their lives on the line to protect us. Is that too much to ask?
