Punishment for deaths due to drunk driving need to be severe and enforced. Life without parole. Too often these irresponsible individuals get a measly manslaughter and serve a year or so. When she wakes up her nightmare will be reality. Don't drink and drive. Always wear a seat belt.
Why life without parole? Why not the death penalty?

And why no vigilante killings of drunk drivers who kill people? After all, people are willing to kill abortion doctors. People are willing to kill people who published cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed. Who will start a campaign of retaliatory vigilante violence against drunk drivers who killed people?

Beat, the way that she probably got headed in the wrong direction on the freeway was that she most likely entered the freeway from on offramp that she confused for an onramp in her alleged state of inebriation. I've noticed that we have a lot of those side-by-side offramp/onramp combos on our SoCal highways. I knew a girl in high school who was killed by a drunk driver under very similar circumstances: she was headed east on the 91 and the drunk entered the freeway from the offramp headed west in the eastbound lanes. He smashed into her head-on and she was pronounced dead at the scene, even though she had been wearing her seatbelt and even though her airbag had deployed.
Drunk drivers who kill should be summarily executed on sight.

There is no need for a trial, since guilt is very obvious.

While you have a right to ignore your high school english teacher, still I'm curious--why did you choose to ignore your high school english teacher?
Your spelling and grammar are so childishly bad, nothing you say would be taken seriously by anyone literate. All you accomplish is for people to feel sorry for you, and why would you want that?
P.S. You might want to learn how to spell "touche" correclty before making it a catchphrase, so as to avoid unintended comic results.

My heart goes out to all of you. I was at Yorba Linda Regional Park earlier that day for my son's birthday party and I remember going right by there. Same thing when Nick Adenhhart died, I went down the same street(Lemon and Orangethorpe) at the same time the night before! Wow! Sometimes I feel Death is right on my heels, just missing me! I love all you people, God Bless, be safe, LOVE!

There is *always* a need for a trial. Never urge the howling mob on to lynch law lest the next time it comes screaming for blood it finds you in its sights.

Even if someone shot another person to death in front of a stadium full of witnesses they must be given a fair trial. It's about all that spearates us from the primitive savages we once were and may yet be. Once the mob tastes blood it rarely stops until the wrong people die.

If someone is shot to death in a stadium full of witnesses, they would likely be shot to death BEFORE escaping.

Dude,
What were you smoking?
What has victims legality got to do with this accident? Anytime you come across a Hispanic or a foreign last name, you assume they are illegal aliens? Read and analyze before you write some dumb remark. The article stated that "victims" were in a 2009 Chevy Silverado truck.
Unless someone paid cash, they have to obtain credit to purchase that truck. To obtain credit (especially these days), a person needs a valid social security number (which is also hard to obtain since late 80s). You could counter this with all kinds of BS. But the reality remains in on the facts.
This was a preventable cause of death(s) if all parties involved acted rationally. If all occupants in the Silverado were wearing seat belts, chances are they could have prevented loss of life. And if the 21 year old bimbo who was drunk (behind the wheel driving on the wrong direction on the freeway), got someone else to drive her home, this act of stupidity would never have happened.

I am sadden by the loss of these women! I knew them from a previous tragedy in their lives. They were loving and caring women mothers and daughters, that didnt deserve to be taken from this earth! They both had children that will now have to grow up without there mothers.. I pray for their family that they will over come this tragedy.. Stay strong Miguel Family!!!! God Bless You!
