Judge: Chavez Lodge can keep full name on ballot

SANTA ANA Anaheim City Council candidate Steve Chavez Lodge can keep his full name on the November ballot but his reference of "retired policeman" must go because Lodge has a new career as a businessman, a judge ruled Tuesday.

Candidate Steve Chavez Lodge had to win the frivilous lawsuit filed by his political enemies. I hope the court awarded him attorney's fees he expended in defending himself from the baseless claims made by his political opponents.
