Lol. Yes I saw it, if everything the news says is true, he sure lied a bunch. Wow...notice he said in his letter to the church that he was goin to see someone in a club to help them, and he never mentioned in the letter that it was a strip club!! I don't know the guy and I never heard of him but hey I bet a few extra people know him now!

Shouldn't have been in there.

And the reporter should have been a little more professional. He was asking questions that were phrased like a common street thug would phrase them. Not cool they followed him all the way home to Anadarko either. That's probably why the pastor was speeding...to try to lose them. If it would have caused an accident Fox25 would have had the pants sued off them.

Interesting smut, but just not very professional especially considering the pastor hasn't even been shown he was doing anything illegal. Find out if he is indeed spending church money and then bust him if he is. It's very possible he was spending his own money, which would only make it immoral for a pastor, but not illegal. They just couldn't pass up a sensational smut story though.

I am a pastor at a church in the same association as Dr. Robertson. I am a friend of Dr. Robertson. It is unfortunate that he was in a strip club, but not unfortunate that he was caught. Hopefully he will be able to reconcile with his wife, and God and will be accepted back into a local church as an educated layperson, not as a minister.
It just goes to show that everyone is human and that we are all sinful. I do commend him for having the moral fortitude to resign from the position without dragging the fine people of Anadarko First Baptist Church through any more humiliation.
God will forgive him if he repents and turns away from his sin, but he should no longer attempt to be in ministry work being that he no longer fulfills the requirements of the office.
I am praying for him, his family, his former church, and his wife.
I do not think that the news people were at fault, they were only following him. It may not be illegal for him to go to a strip club, but it certainly is news. They have a job, and were doing it the best that they knew how. Dr. Robertson was at fault, do not try to divert it elsewhere.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Fair is fair. Glad someone who knows him spoke up. Evens things out.

I live in this very small town and just found out yesterday, guess not such a small town after all.. I think Fox 25 news was doing there job and the pastor's image and reputation was comprimised. Paster Robertson was at fault for what he was doing and just simply got caught.
I feel terrible for his wife and the church. He has disgraced himself, his family, and his church. He is human though, man of God or not. It is a lesson for us all, no one is above any type of law and anyone can caught.
I really hope he did not take money from the church, but if he did they have every right to sue him.
I hope the best for all involved especially the innocent.

I have known the Robertsons for many years. I knew their children when they were small. They always seemed like a wonderful family. I grew as a christian under his ministry.
Pastor Robinson was wrong in frequenting the Strip Club. As a pastor, a christian, he should have known better. We are all sinners and obviously he became weak and gave in to the human flesh sin. The Lord promises his forgivness if we repent and I know Pastor will be forgiven.
Now for his fellow humans, I pray that everyone will forgive him and remember he is only a fallen man. Like the rest of us. Please remember the good he has done in his Christian walk. Obvious that he has hurt those that loved him and followed the Lord through his ministry, but right now he and his family can use Christian love and forgiveness.
As far as Fox New, They didn't need to hurt his family publically. This should have been handled locally through the church. The informant should have gone to the church not the news. He needs prayer also. Satan used him to bring disruption to the church. Dr. Robertson needs help, not condemnation.

What was the purpose of you posting this? You were implying something wrong. Maybe the dollar came from a sweet christian that wanted to give you a gift. Maybe you should ask yourself, was posting this a christian behavior or an evil act to add to distruction.. Maybe you should pray about it.

I am sorry that the pastor's family suffers from this nonsense, but I'm dumbfounded how so many can blame the informant and/or Fox News as the cause. The facts are simple. The pastor did wrong. The pastor knowingly chose to do wrong. The pastor gave some lame excuse for his choice to do wrong in hopes of deflecting responsibility.

Satan didn't use the informant to disrupt the church, HE USED THE PASTOR! I'm all for offering your prayers, foregiveness, etc., but please remember that all of the pain suffered by the Robertsons and the FBC are of the Pastor's doing. Let him take responsibility, let us offer foregiveness and move on.

FBC is not just one person, and the lack of Randy Robertson will certainly not disrupt its operation. FBC will continue to raise large sums of money to build even larger and nicer buildings for their members to sit in. Nothing will change.

I don't know this pastor and certainly can't judge anything regarding this. All I lsay is that my love and prayers are extended to his family. I know what it is like to be cast out. It is obvious this Pastor needs help. The kind thing would have been to deal with this WITHIN the church. Obviously this is someone who has a personal vendetta against Pastor Robertdon.

Adding to the destruction Ha, get your head out of the sand. That was like throwing a firecracker on the Twin Towers. The Pastor was a wolf in sheeps clothing I even have doubts he was ever saved. You know the one in the church that dropped the dime on him may have prayed about it. And started the evil? No wait the preacher said he was horney as hell.

Just pray for the pastor, his family and church members.
As a pastor he did the right thing by stepping down-only God knows his future. I pray he get right with his family, church and more importantly God.

Even saved ones can go wrong, look at David. There is not much he did not do, but God loved and forgave him. We are not to judge others. Pray that he turns his life back to God.

Why judge the obvious? The fruit on his tree was rotten.
