Border Security Checks Labeled Racial Profiling

The U.S. government’s increased security in a vulnerable part of the northern border notorious for drug smuggling has been labeled racial profiling by city and county officials because dozens of illegal immigrants have been arrested in the process.

One of those arrested at the ferry terminal was Sebastian Quintero, who was caught on the way to pick up his wife from the airport and now faces deportation. The couple, who met on Orcas Island a couple of years ago, have a month-old baby boy and a 20-month girl. The family used all their savings on Quintero's bail.

"They left us in ruins," said Quintero's wife, Crystal, a permanent U.S. resident.

The family will probably go back to Mexico.

"There's nothing there for us," he said. "We were born screwed, and we will stay that way."

Taking responsiblity for ones actions is not exactly being shown by many of the poor souls.

I think I'm following your train of thought this morning, however, I'm rather tired due to hours upon hours of tornado warnings and the tragedy at the Scout Camp. Back to who should be responsible. Many of us were raised by parents who in today's society would have been charged with mental/physical abuse (I'll say no more.) We choose to be who we are, the laws we follow or not. If I used my mother's abuse for every mistake I as an adult have made....... We have choices to follow or lead, I took the later path and will say no more. I put the blame where I feel the blame should be on each individual.

No, if the border patrol was allowed to do their jobs without being sued at every turn the job might already be done.That and having someone in office who respects our nation.

The appeals court is now way past due in offering their ruling on those cases. I think they are getting pressure "from the top" not to rule.

So do I, called Johnny Sutton and Alberto Gonzales. Someone's covering something up bigger than the two agents for sure. Would it be the firing of the US Attorneys for political reasons, as well as Senior Boosh' close relationship with Mexico? God, we could go on and on and end up with quite a list, couldn't we?
