Couple in Ashton, ID. involved in child custody dispute

In July 2005, a newborn was born in Tarrant County, TX. The child's unwed mother had been working with LDS Family Services, and relatives of her new boyfriend, who resides in Ashton, ID, on adoptiong the baby prior to the birth. The infant's biological father had no knowledge of the pregnancy until two days before the child's birth. The infant's biological parents also have a 4 year old daughter together. When the father recieved notice of the the impending birth, he refused to consent to an adoption. The baby was taken by the prospective adoptive parents 2 days after the birth to Ashton, Id. The baby was hid until September of 2006, when the couple intervened in the custody dispute. In January 2007, a jury trial was heldin which the couple was named Managing Conservators and the father is granted visitation the first weekend of every month.
