Starbucks, GoHealth sign leases at Greybarn Amityville
Greybarn Amityville, a new mixed-use development in North Amityville, has secured its first two retail tenants, according to brokerage firm Sabre Real Estate Group. Starbucks will take an 1,800-square-foot space and is set to open in the next few weeks.

Ooh wow. I grew up in North Amityville off route 110, and love what is being done to the neighborhood. However I am not sure how much of these development efforts will benefit the residents in the long run. This all look like gentrification at its finest. I see the writing on the wall. North Amityville is now looking attractive, being the first town in Suffolk county...adjacent to the coveted Massapequa. I am curious to see how this will all will play out.

Has anybody realised that the whole structure is wood....no concrete, no steel nothing to structurally support the web work of wood. I'm highly concerned.
