Hey moron, are u aware it's a VOLUNTEER Fire Department?? no one is sitting up at the fire house waiting for your fat ass to fall on ground or for your house to go on fire!! These volunteers are going about their day to day activities just like everyone else. Cell phones and pagers?? I guess you don't own one because anyone that does wouldn't bet their life on one!! KEEP THE SIRENS BLASTING

i have friends that live over there.the EFFD started using that siren only a month and a half ago. those people lived there for's their homes, the volley shack is just your clubhouse. its 2008 get a clue, a siren is one step above smoke signals. that house only covers 1 square mile so why does its siren go off for other houses calls? i guess you need to spend your overblown budget (3 mil a year) on something so how about better pagers and scanners instead of a boat and a party bus.
With a name like "smokeatinhero" this must be a clown that can't hold a real job or be on the NYFD so he became a volley.
"I bet that they wouldn't even be able to survive our TRAINING!!" - Oh Please!!!
One square mile, they cover the entire district as next time do some research before you run your mouth

I recently started spending a lot of time at my girlfriend's house near the fire station which is well over a mile away and I here this loud thing 2-3 times a day. Really? In this day and age we need to alert the whole damn town that there's a fire? It's a little ridiculous. If we can get enough people to complain then I'm sure they'll change it. There's just no reason to disturb everyone in their busy lives 2-3 times a day.
