8-year-old's pretty pink tee targets an ugly word

It took a few days to figure out the message on the pretty pink T-shirt that got an 8-year-old in trouble at her Amityville elementary school this week.

I, for one, am sick and tired of blaming the schools for bad parenting. Parents need to think before sending their children to school dressed inappropriately or blaming the schools for the inappropriate behavior of their children. As Forrest Gump said: "Stupid is as stupid does." I think this applies to many of our parents today. Instead of taking responsibility for their stupidity, they blame it all on the schools. Sad!

the mother is responsible for her kid being embarrassed by dressing her inappropriately. she shouldn't use her daughter as her personal billboard, she should wear her agenda herself.

Well said. And the mother just happens to be selling the tshirts on her own website? Disgraceful!

Boy, Newday fell for this cheap marketing ploy hook, line, and sinker. I hope these half-wits are paying the sales taxes on any shirts they sell.

Is it okay to send kids to school with a swastika on their t-shirts? Must be.

How nice to see a Mother use her child as fodder for her own issues. Send her to a school, where she is a minority, with a neon billboard on her chest. And when the other kids are offended and her child is accosted, whose fault will it be?

What would the first F stand for in "F the F WORD"? Your guess is as good as mine.

People like this should have their tubes tied and should never be allowed to procreate. Way to use your 8 year old kid a billboard for your agenda. You make me sick.
