Seems the Louisiana Supreme Court hs no desire to waive Gerald's appeals and are considering his penalty of death excessive and could very well send him back for a new sentencing hearing. Being Perrilloux is no longer processing death penalty cases due to his ineptness, Gerald's sentence will most likely be reduced to life in prison. After reviewing Perrilloux's past cases of death sentence submitted to the courts, the majority have been turned around by the Louisiana Supreme Court. Around 20/22 cases all turned around. Not such a good record. I say that is an 'F'.
One of the first errors in Gerald's case was not even one black person legally in Jury Pool, can't say how illegal it was for the court not to give a sanity hearing before allowing Gerald to change his plea from not guilty by reason of insanity to only not guilty.......Judge Bennett allowed many wrongs in the case. Kangaroo court all the way around..It will come back to bite them in their (^*&. When prosecuting a death penalty, you would think the courts would do so legally and by the law....which is not what LIV practices. It will all come out in the wash. Just watch. The Supreme court has not even processed the five they already awaiting a death sentence date due to exhausting appeals since the Baze ruling with US Supreme Court's ....making the lethal injection legal. If the court chooses to not allow Gerald to waive his appeals, then they will have to rule penalty was excessive....must be what they are working on. |

It is easy to sit an judge someone, when you no nothing about that person. I know for a fact that jennifer is hurting so very badly about the lost of her daughter. I know if she could turn this whole terriable situation around, she would do it in a heart beat. You are not there to see the hurt, the tears that i see. She really is a good person, but you wouldn't know that because you have never met her, but i have. Yes we all have our faults, but if you don't know a person you should never judge them unless you know the facts.

I met 1 of Courtney's sister about a year ago, and fell in love with this young, beautiful, hard working, talented young lady. To say all this has not left scars on these girls would be pure stupidy. Since I have gotten to know this young woman, I realize I would love anyone of my 3 daughters to be like her. I will admit to being horrified at the time Courtney came up missing and all that followed after. But I do know this... I have read all these comment about this horrible woman, or good woman, depends on what side the fence you are on doesn't it? Going so far as to make snide comments when she hugged, kissed, or smiled at one of her other daughters. Or these so called loving family members *Who are there for you Brit & Megan*. But this is what I have seen... strangers who have become like family.. And family who NOthing is ever mentioned, With the EXCEPTION of their mother, and sisters. I am glad to be apart of the new family, one who will not judge their mother whom they all love. All I have seen is a mother who is there for them when she is needed and gives love and support unconditionally. If you narrow minded so called christians really need to bash someone go after the real Criminal here. The one who I hope dies painfully if not in this life, then let him burn in the fires of eternal hell. So it doesn't really matter what side of the fence you are on... it is really for these young women to decide, if, when, & how their mother is to be in their lives. They choose their Mom, and they Choose each other, thats enough for me. Jennifer, I am truly sorry for your loss. I know for so many years and many years to come you will always hurt to the core. I will never judge you, Only God can judge us. Your Daughters are beautiful, inside and out. Good luck to you and your girls, and A.S.A.P. for someone....*Always Say A Prayer*
