Part 1
Last year China reported they were sitting on a trillion dollars and did not know what to do with it. They stated that the USA should still send them the millions in aide promised even though they had a trillion dollars. CNN reports today, 5/29/2008, that China is seeking aid from Japan.
Wal-mart in the USA is not unionized. Wal-mart in China is unionized within the last 3-4 years.
China was responsible for the manufacturing of phony pharmaceuticals that resulted in the deaths
of an untold number of Americans. These phony drugs were shipped to US chinese receivers who
then redistributed the phony drugs to actual retail pharmacy outlets who then sold the medication that had no medicinal properties. Innocent American patients with real medical conditions in some cases did die.
China is also responsible for the high lead content in American children's toys and certain items of clothing like bibs, and cooking utensils.
China has a huge market that steals, copies, and pirates copy-write protected entertainment media
like music that is robbing earnings and royalties from their rightful owners. Americans are paying to send foreign individuals to our top universities while our own children are being turned away. The scholarships given to 1 foreign student can equal the salary of 2 adult
Americans working full time.
Loans are going unpaid with the foreign entities playing the name game due to our own American ignorance. One individual racked up close to $250,000.00 dollars in loans. There was not enough identifying information to locate the foreigner to recoup American losses. You do the math based on the number of colleges in the USA. Our American dollar loss is astronomical in this area alone.
Not to mention that we have paid for many people to learn English. Once I asked a foreign person what something meant written in their language and he had the audacity to tell me "I did not need to know that" and rudely walked off.
Additionally the "I do not speak English" game some foreigners play is designed to force more companies to hire people who speak English and a second language. A fact that is putting more Americans out of work on American soil who do not speak another language. The "I do not speak English" game is a discriminatory tactic designed by foreigners to exclude Americans on our on soil from much needed employment and other opportunities. Foreign labor is not always cheaper as some would have you to believe.

Part 2

In America I see other languages printed in both English and other non-english languages. But when I have gone into certain communities right here in America it is as though I went to another country. They advertise and put out information only in their language which is not only rude but selfish as well considering how good America has been to them. Lawsuits have even been filed to force Americans to translate into other foreign languages. Has anyone ever did the same to force foreigners here on US soil to translate from their language to English?

In Texas the Mexicans wave the largest Mexican flag known on USA soil. Bigger than any Flag ever flown here by Americans. Do you think they are saying Thank You America or no?

What we must do is have our schools teach a second language as a must to graduate in order to keep Americans competitive and less inclined to rely on foreign entities to teach in our top schools, come here for our top jobs, and run businesses that are culturally disadvantageous and devaluing to our own American culture.

For example raising prices around our holidays and claiming that all goods made here in America are not as good as those made in their country of origin. Reducing the amount of product sold and trying to make Americans believe the price has not been raised. If you sell me 4lbs instead of 5lbs at the price of a 5lb item yes the price is raised since I am getting 4lbs for the price of 5lbs 1 whole lb less.

American food, traditional and soul food, is just as good and healthy as asia, hispanic, indian, african, and all others when properly prepared. During Hurricane Katrina I do not "recall" any aid or significant aid being sent to the US from China.

Do you think the Chinese appreciate American efforts to improve their quality of life by being their #1 supporter to help buid up their job opportunities and employment base over the years? What about the spanish, mexicans, indians from India, africans, arabs, and other countries we have helped by providing them with job, social services, and other humanitarian aid and opportunities?

Americans with roots in this country going back to the Mayfair will look at another American with the same cultural background and say guilty until proven innocent. But when it comes to the foreigners they are innocent until proven guilty. Why? Simply because you cannot speak their language so you do not know what they are doing. Teach American children in both our public and private schools a second language to break this dependency on outsiders.

I agree, stop illegal immigration discrimination, do you know the illegal immigration benefits 30 Latin Americans for every non-Latin American beneficiary? That is a 30 to1 preference for Latin Americans, allowing illegal immigration supports discrimination.

Let me put it this way:
I broke into your front door, climbed your front gate, or break in to your windows then start to live inside your house alongside with my 8 children, I like living in your house because my old home is not good to me nor to my children.
I also demand you to speak my language, pay for my hospital bills when i get sick or any of my kids get sick, i also demand you to pay for my 8 kids to go to school.
I fly my country(home) flag in your home, i also demand you to speak my language, I complain whenever you ask me to get out of the house
and if you don't accept any of these demands; i would scream out and march inside your home alongside other invaders.
How would you feel? see the similarities with the illegals?

The platitude and stolidity of your comments exemplify how easily one becomes a sycophant of others retort.

I am so sick of people (no matter what country they come from) thinking they can come into this country without abiding by our nation's laws. Illegals snub their nose at those laws every day they live on American soil. My husband is a true immigrant. We have gone through all the legal channels from go. We are both highly offended by those who choose to ignore the laws. Doing things the right way is a long and difficult path, but worth it in the end. My husband doesn't have to worry someone will find him out. He is legally here. Why can't others come here legally? Because they don't want to wait? There is a false sense of entitlement going on here. Perhaps it is desperation for some, but that does not justify a person to break our nation's laws and expect it to be overlooked. My family came over from Germany in the 1700's and assimilated into American society. My husband is working to assimilate into American society. Why is it so much to ask others to assimilate? If you want to live in America, be an American. LEGALLY! Don't expect me to conform to the society/language/loyalty/flag of your mother country. You should be conforming to mine.

<quoted text>No offense Black-Injun..but how much do you really know about the history of Afro-Mexicans in Mexico? Much of the anti-sentiment and abuse came from the arriving Criollos of Spain, the natives themselves, which is currently most of Mexico viewed and revered black people, they saw and opposed slavery. In fact in a black man named Gaspar Yanga is held in such high regards that he is a national hero in Mexico. As such Mexico is by far less (as you say) "Anti-African". Your ideology stems from the media hyped attitudes you view here in the U.S. and by the Criollo controlled governments in Mexico.
Again are there Mexicans who despise black people? Yes...are their Blacks who despise Mexicans? Of course. All this really says though is that this is not a black or brown condition but a human one.
Believe as you wish, but look at the situation a little deeper. View the factual history.
I know what you're trying to say and I agree with you. In fact, I'm working on a play that addresses this whole immigration issue, particularly in terms of how it pits blacks against mexicans (or other minorities) in terms of jobs and how the people who REALLY benefit from this (business owners) always come out on top. It is to their benefit to have minorities fighting each other like crabs in a barrel. They're glad to hire undocumented workers because 1) they can exploit them and 2) blacks and others who want those jobs are forced to accept lower wages or be replaced. I try to examine it from ALL sides; no one side is right. The discussion and opinions here are very interesting and are helping with my research alot.

Why? Because I expect others to abide by the same laws my husband and I have adhered to? Or perhaps because we (as do numerous other Americans) feel that if one is so set on living in America, be loyal to America. Act like an American. Freedom isn't free. Many have died in the name of freedom for this country. Immigration laws are in place for a reason just as well as all laws. When I lived in my husband's home country, I had to adhere to his country's laws. Immigration laws are in place to preserve the future of the nation and protect national security. If we allowed every person who wanted to live in this country enter, where would we be? Yes, this country has had its share of a shameful past. She has shoved the indigenous peoples onto reservations and attempted their genocide. She drug people from their native country, across the ocean to be sold like cattle at auction, and forced into slavery. She has pitted brother against brother in war to abolish slavery. Our nation is soaked in blood. But she has had her share of victories. Yes, our nation is a nation of immigrants from all countries and all walks of life. Our nation is also a nation of laws. Gone are the days of mass tracks of land being granted by the government to any who wish to claim a piece of America. We live in a society that requires immigration laws. Without those laws, the influx of immigrants would destroy this country. Where would they live? There is only so much housing. Should we reduce the remaining tracks of land to accommodate them all? Destroy national preserves and farmland? Would that not also reduce available resources of food? What about the already strained school systems? Shall we reduce quality in favor of quantity? Say...one hundred students per classroom? What about crime? Denser populated cities have a higher crime rate. Where do we put criminals? In the already over-populated prisons? What's the answer? Build bigger schools, jails, police stations? We can't. We don't have the room because we had to build all the new housing. People begin rioting in the streets because food prices have risen dramatically due to a mass shortage of land for growing crops. America declines into a depression due to the population explosion. There are no longer enough jobs. Cost of living soars. America can only absorb so much. Taxes soar to off-set needed and over-burdened programs. America finds herself in a similar situation as third-world countries where there is a waiting list to be hired on at McDonalds.(No joke. Jobs are so scarce in my husband's country, the IS a waiting list to work at the McDonalds in the capitol.)

Think this couldn't happen in America? Use common sense and logic. I don't want to see this happen.

Those who CHOOSE to ignore the laws show no respect for America or Americans. I welcome and respect immigrants who abide by the laws. Not those who say, "Oh, I'll just break the immigration law, but abide by the rest."

America is not the scape-goat for another country's problems. We have enough of our own.

1) millions of illegal aliens have lowered wages in the USA for all kinds of trades.

2) these people were exploited and fk'd over by this Bimbo- this a human rights issue. Jamaicans have been screwed in the cane fields of Florida. I like Jamaicans and I hate to see them screwed.

3) I think poorly educated are more racist, this does include Mexicans- specifically in this case

4)these people made a deal and got ripped...

5) I read about Mexicans getting screwed in Alberta Canada along the same lines.

6) If there were not so so so many Mexicans available, then employers would have to live up to their obligations

7) enforce the laws and this stuff would stop.

8) I am a fairly well off white professional living in a wealthy area. But while at the Univesity of Texas At Austin, while my parents were living overseas, I picked a few onions. It paid twice what I made washing dishes in a dorm, the rate worked out to about $4.00 /hr back in the mid 1970's. That farmer was glad to have us and he damn well made sure we had water and a place to pee. He knew we would come back the next Saturday.
