What kind of truth are you looking for? Why are the officers who put their lives on the line always the ones who have to justify their actions and the criminals are innocent till proven guilty. It is pathetic we live in a society that gives the criminals more rights then the officers who are risking their lives every day to keep the rest of us safe. Should it not be the other way around? It makes me physically ill to see news reports where a criminal is out committing crimes and we hear what a "good" person the criminal is and they complain about the police officer doing their job for the death of their "good" family member who is either injured or killed by the police. A "GOOD" person is not out committing crimes~!!!!!! I am sure if this criminal were not doing something wrong he would not have been pulled over. These men and women put their lives on the line every day to protect all of us. it is a THANKLESS job. Please remember their job is to protect your butt not kiss it. There should be very stiff penalties for anyone who injures or kills a police officer~!!! There would be a lot less crime if criminals had to pay for what they did~!!! I wonder what side of the law you are on????? I thank God the officer was not injured. Officers have to make instant decisions...if a speeding car was heading toward you would you not defend yourself...???????
