I have heard that the Millhouse is going to re-open soon? Does anyone else know what is going on? I heard through the grapevine that a supper club from Pulaski is moving out there and going to run it as a supper club and banquet hall. I sure hope this is true because that would be a great thing to have in the town.

Probably just another rumor in the big Waupaca rumor mill. Waupaca is notorious for rumors. They have nothing better to do.

We stayed at the Hotel next to it and also played golf there and we were really looking forward to booking an event there this summer but i heard that the city is giving the potential owners alot of grief concerning back taxes on the property. I wonder how much back taxes there are? This place is far the best facility I have ever seen. what a shame.

Lots of TIF money is owed on the property. I looked into buying it myself. It's not worth the hassle trying to get the city to budge on that one. They can keep their TIF money, and that property. That place is going to sit empty for a while, or someone who has a lot of money to burn will have to buy it.

I have heard that the deal did not go through. The city will not work with anyone on this place. There is alot of back money owed and the city will sit on it till it's time to tear it down. What a shame, another lost opportunity for Waupaca.I can't imagine what the bank that owns the building is going though. Here they had a buyer and the city stops the sale. I bet the bank is fuming!

I am guessing that whatever bank has this place will not be doing or financing any projects in Waupaca for any time soon!
Maybe the city will come to it's senses and work with the bank.
I looked at Supper Clubs in Pulaski on the internet and I do not see any? which one is it? Anyone hear?

I see Baylake bank has decided to strip the building and sell the shell for whatever they get. They got a offer to purchase the equipment and other stuff inside and some church wants to buy the building.
