From what I've heard, I believe the admins. had grown tired of a certain individual and the issues the certain person brought to the site.

I heard they sold to a media company and are turning into an invitation only site.

Only the best glurbers get to use the site when it comes back.

Why would you call someone a "lawsuit happy twit" when you don't know all the facts about why she filed a lawsuit in the first place?

Is it illegal to challenge city hall? Our rights, and freedoms are the most sacred things we have, and if someone takes them away it is our right, and obligation to fight to ensure justice!

People need to take the time to find out the facts, rather than be malicious like softwarejanitor, who was one of the posters on the site NevadaIA.com

It does not take a genius to see why that site was shut down, and if other sites don't have good administration who stops the nastyness from the start more sites will follow! Get facts, stop slinging hurtful gossip, and inuendo!

This site violates peoples rights to "freedom of speech" and it compromises our ability to petition for redress of grievances against local government, because the local government has a stronghold on the site!

People don't know that I can't even access on that server!
Now Nevada is having a huge struggle over a coal plant that our officials tried to slip under our radar.
The citizens of Nevada are finding out the "true colors" of our officials as to how they patronize, bully, intimidate, manipulate, exclude etc. people who don't agree with the officials.
I tried to warn the citizens of Nevada for many years. My battle was not simply about a mini-horse. My issues were the corruption, conspiracy, dictation, selective enforcement, illegal delegation of power etc.
Once we delegate, or hire these people into office if we don't regulate, and control them than they can simply regulate, and control us instead!
There are some very BAD things happening within Nevada leadership. The only way to stop it is to elect me Mayor in 2009 so I can remove our abusive, and dangerous city attorney, and those within who have enabled and encouraged him!
Our government on the whole is "out of control" Look at the state of our economy on the National level. Look how we all get to foot the "bill" for the mess those within have gotten us into while we failed to regulate them! This whole mess is going to get much worse before it gets better. Now the "bailout" is growing, citigroup, the big 3 auto, etc. etc. We have buried our heads in the sand long enough, it is time for ACTION and that means to participate in our government, courts, and to protect and defend our own CONSTITUTIONAL rights, not leave everything in the hands of some within.
Being a cop, lawyer, government official, judge, etc. does not make a person "honest" But it sure makes it very easy for them to be "DISHONEST!"
I am sick of being a "puppet" and getting stuck with the mess once it gets out of control! So I will take action and run for office, because the only way to truely make the necessary changes is to get WITHIN!!! We have to start getting control on the local levels before we can expect to have a voice on the state, and National levels!

Unfortunately, Ms. Rhonda feels it necessary to enter every forum/thread and spew her venom on those who take time to read her posts.
Actually, most just skip her posts knowing it is the same old stuff she has been talking about for years.
Some folks, namely Rhonda, don't seem to be able to get on with their life. What a shame.
Glurb is/has been a great forum to find out information from others. It is not intended to be a dialogue for ranting and raving.
Glurb is/has been intended to be informative and often light in nature, like "best hot wings" and so on.
It is totally a shame when one person, Rhonda Applegate, sets out to ruin the whole premise for everyone.
