An excellent segment on the Channel 13 news. Food @ First is a great example of individuals showing how much they care for their community. Scott, Matt, Kyle and all the volunteers are super people and I can't thank them enough for all they do. Ames is very fortunate to have these dedicated individuals in the community. When my son Bryan was head chef at Food @ First, he was so excited about working with the other volunteers and meeting all of the people that came through the line and ate. He shared with me several times how interesting it was to visit with the visitors and how rewarding it was to volunteer at Food @ First. It is so uplifting for me to see and hear how these special people are carrying on with their work at Food @ First and how they remember Bryan. You all at Food @ First are very special. And thank you, WHO-TV for taking the time and featuring Food @ First on your Iowa Cares segment.

Channel 13 you did a great job. I knew my nephew Bryan was right in there working but never realized the much needed work that they all have done and are doing. It brought tears to my eyes to see the actually setting and the work they do. Last nights segment made me open my eyes of what wonderful work they do at that church. I had been told by my Brother Bob and my Sister Zella about it but just never thought alot about it. It is a wonderful thing and once again thank you Channel 13 for sharing and also for remembering my nephew, Bryan.
