Once this liberal station has shown that they have fallen for the tricks of much to powerful liberals and gone with the global war junk. Al Gore has done it again.

What a pack of ring tail idiots! The Professor on Gilligan's Island is more credible than these two fools. Global warming? Where....when? Even the lie that the United Nations had been pushing for years about global warming has been exposed as just that.....a lie! The truth of the matter is that the earth goes in cycles. Always has and always will. God does what He wants as He sees fit and set seasons into place thousands of years ago. The last several years in this state have been well below average too(folks forget that). And I'll just throw this out there for fun, most scientists, in fact, do not believe in "global warming". As big of a myth as the Easter Bunny and yes another tool of the libtard left!

Yes thats the why the crime rate is higher in Florida than it is in New York and why crime increases in the summer!!! RIGHT!! GIVE US A BREAK! I am sure the unemployment and foot pain are caused by warming temp's. And by the way it makes my car get bad gas mileage. And my dog's fleas are caused by this also.... what else can we blame on this crap????

The seasons were set "into place thousands of years ago" by God, eh? You mock and ridicule scientists who study data and emperical evidence to come to their conclusions, and then throw out unprovable creationist myth.

You give yourself away with your "libtard left" smear, so I'm sure you are not reasonable and open to fact, but you are wrong about temperatures being below average(facts show just the opposite) and the vast majority of climate scientists and scientific organizations believe climate change is real, occuring and predominately caused by human behavior.

As with most people like you, you will get your panties all in a twist and spew various insults at me containing "lib" and continue to make this a partisan issue and ignore science, reality and fact. You will continue to make statements (as you did in your comments above) that are the complete opposite of the truth. But let me ask you this - can you honestly say that humans are not needlessly polluting the planet and that pollution is not having a detrimental effect on our environment and our health? Don't you believe that we can and should take sensible steps to limit our impact on our world? If the Earth truely is God's creation, shouldn't we doing much more to protect it?

When the so called experts publish nutty stories like this, how are they supposed to retain credibility? When scientists manipulate data in order to prove their theory, how are we supposed to believe them as well? Although we have more data now than we did a hundred years ago, the evidence does show increase in temperature, but why is the question. A researcher during a similar study on clouds had suggested the lack of clouds would cause more heating, whereas the experts claimed that the heating had caused less cloud formations. So same end result, but two different theories. It's the classic chicken and the egg scenario. What of the spike in temperatures in the mid 1800's, as far as I know there were no cars then, nor had we had the industrial revolution yet, so what was the cause of that. I believe we need to control greenhouse gasses, but we must do it in a way that allows us to transfer technology over the course of 50 to 100 years. Cap and trade would be a disaster for our economy in it's current form and only designed to transfer wealth from nations like ours to poorer ones evening the playing field. As far as Al Gore is concerned, anyone who makes as much money on the issue can not be trusted. As far as the scientists go you realize that if they publish a conclusion that is contrary to the so called status quo they will lose funding so their motivations should be questioned as well. And unless I'm mistaken plant's take in co2 and give off oxygen, has anyone done a study on increase's in plant growth as a result? I'm not a denier, but we need to sort out truth from lies and propaganda.

When I was fat pregnant during two Nebraska summers, I was indeed angry.
But then I had the where-to-all, to step under shade and cool down, as a self-subscribed restraint from toturing innocents. Including me.
In light of what the ISU profs claim, isn't it comforting to know we're in maybe oh, the millionith cooling cycle in the billions of years of nature made climate changes?
Now we can look forward to happy "cool" folks being kind and law abiding.
No worries...

While I usually don't engage the slower folks on here, I'm in a good mood and I'm going to entertain this one.

It ALWAYS has to be a new title for whatever you leftists wish to call something, doesn't it? In the 70's science insisted we were a few years away from a new ice age and glaciers would cover the earth. Well much to your disappointment that never happened, though we did have some good snow mobiling weather in the late 70's early 80's......I'll spot you that! The latest global warming myth got it's teeth of all places, Berkeley, Ca! Yeah, a real shocker! About every 20-30 years the "opinions" of science change. Now science cannot agree and it's called climate change. Good way to cover your tail!

And I hate to burst your vision, but even the liberal media have been reporting the fraud that was involved in the climate data pointing to warming. Even the founder of the Weather Channel admitted to the FACT that the earth cycles before his death. Science and man are limited by their abilities and intelligence. Science contradicting science on a daily basis are proof enough of that position. Think about this - a study today may say that coffee causes cancer for whatever reason. Next year another study from other(c'mon say it) scientists will say just the opposite

I would agree that folks can and should be reasonable in their efforts to keep a tidy planet. Anyone calling his or herself a Christian, Jew, Muslim, etc - should also have the same belief as well, since most major religions insist on one being responsible for their surroundings.

I would say that based on science the earth has only gone up or down a few degrees since it's creation. I mean anything I learned in grade school through college proved this. The good folks at Liberty University didn't hand me a Masters just for my looks! Guess I took some time to study and not put so much stock in what CNN says or internet chatrooms. No, I'm not a Fox News-er either. But I will say that both the loony left and crazy right newtorks have both reported the FRAUD of the global warming myth. The U.N. climate scandal was big news! Don't know how that one selectively got by ya!

Now concerning crime and heat - Detroit, St. Louis, Chicago, Camden NJ, Gary IN, etc - real annual heat waves going on there let me tell ya! BTW, those cities are in the top 10 for crime in the U.S. Got a few cities from California in there too. But none known as major "hot spots".

I've made my point.

Indeed you have.

That point is that if we trusted in your judgement our grandchildren would grow up in a much worse world than we live now. Thankfully ignorance and denial can hold out only so long.

Let's use common sense and take steps to curb our impact on our planet for future generations. Don't be selfish and shortsighted.

Is that Liberty U, as in Jerry Falwell's Liberty U?
