AMES, Iowa (AP)- A criminal complaint filed in Story County sheds more light on a drug bust that netted nine arrests.
Police say nine people from across the Midwest were weighing and dividing about 400 pounds of marijuana at a Zearing house before a bust there on Saturday.
4 of the nine people were Iowans. The rest were from Colorado and Kansas.
Their charges all relate to possession with intent to deliver marijuana and conspiracy to manufacture marijuana.
Court documents on all but two indicate they were arrested following the Zearing raid.
Each is being held on a $250,000 bond at the Story County Jail.
NOT ONE MENTION OF MURDER IN THIS ARTCILE.
