unsolved murder in douglas ga

DORIS SPILLERS WORRELL OF DOUGLAS GA WAS VIOLENTLY MURDERED ON SEPT 20 2006 WHILE WORKING AT THEIR FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS, JON'S SPORTS PARK. TWO MEN WERE ARRESTED RECENTLY AND CHARGED WITH "CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT MURDER". THEY WERE HELD WITHOUT BOND AT THE REQUEST OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY IN CHARGE OF THE CASE. THESE SAME TWO MEN WERE RECENTLY RELEASED ON BOND, WITHOUT A FORMAL HEARING, AT THE REQUEST OF THE DA'S OFFICE. THE ONLY WITNESS PRESENT AT THE SCENE WAS AN ILLEGAL ALIEN, WHO WAS DEPORTED BY ICE AND IS NOW BACK IN HER NATIVE COUNTRY, VENEZUELA. SHE LEFT WITHOUT EVER MAKING A STATEMENT TO ANY LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY. WHERE IS THE JUSTICE AMERICA IS KNOWN FOR?
SADLY, THE STATE OF GA ISSUED THE ONLY REWARD OFFERED, IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000.

Doris' family is living in Fernandina Beach Fl now. Did you read about the big drug bust of a family that was selling up to 10 ounces of cocaine weekly?

First let me say just incase the comment was about Douglas is not a good place to raise children you are way off base. I am sure that you have never been in Douglas and all you have heard is bad because nothing good makes the news. Also Doris Worrells murder is one of very few really bad things that have happened in Douglas. I was raised in Douglas and I would not raise my kids any where else. So DO NOT judge Douglas solely on what you hear on the news.

i new thouse people and she will e missed and douglas is a good place to raise kids i grew up there and i turned out ok and and i love to go to jhon's sport park was the best plase to spend a sat and fri. night to hang with friends so yea i love douglas

I love Douglas and many people who live there. I was in Douglas for three years and didn't find anything wrong with it..
