There are plenty of people being 'part of the solution', i.e. the 16% of legitimate births, the brother with the Master's from a few posts ago, myself, the list goes on. Just like white people, Blacks come in good and bad. Maybe if we quit giving the negative all the attention, we'd start seeing some improvements...

Music isn't bad, but the culture with which it's associated can be. I'm sure if those kids rolled up with shaved heads and Doc Martins - while stomping out a good-natured food order - it would have been the same thing. Hip hop culture is what good people do not want to associate. Hip hop is often created as a testamony of getting educated by the streets or cell block A. That's what that stupid-ass strait-billed hat and oversized dumb-looking clothes often signify. Rock and Roll changed the world for the better...
