I am wondering what reaction if any the LDS church has had with this case. Also if they are going to punish him in any way.

If I remember corectly, he was discharged from his post. I think that is about all a church can do until he is proven guilty, then he will probably be excommunicated. And as usual the seventeen year old "victim" will go on with her life.
I know and understand adults are the responible ones, however when I was seventeen I had been living on my own for three years and was always responsible for the choices I made. This girl had to have known what she was doing after the first four or five times, why did she let it go on so long? and where were her parents during all this? |

How is what this guy did different than what the two women in davis county did with the 13-17 year olds? and the prosecutor in that case doesn't even want to send them to jail.
