I was a Marine serving as a Pentagon guard, guarding the top brass in the Flag Plot on the 4th floor of the Pentagon from 73 to 74. It was an honor to be there. My brother has served 2 terms in Iraq before resigning, as now soldiers who defend ther lives and the lives of their companies by killing terrorists can be prosecuted for murder. He, in good conscience couldn't stay in the service when our political leaders would turn against him or his brothers in arms. My father and grandfather served in the military, as well as other relatives for the sake of defending our country and freedom in other countries.
We must oust all politicians that do not support the troops, that includes Feinstein, Boxer, Pelosi, and Obama, as well as Murtha, Durban and a slew of other bad politicians. Our service men and women cannot conduct any campaign or war with politicians calling the shots. The best way to support the troops is to send letters and make phone calls to your representatives in Congress. Demand that THEY give total support to our troops and generals, and stop the harassment of threatened prosecution for doing the job they are supposed to do. |

I respect all the military personnel throughout our history for their service, but I especially respect those serving today for they are a voluntary military. I really admire one taking the oath today knowing he or she is going into harms way. That takes guts unlike the politicians dithering and wondering how a decision will effect their careers. New subject: Ex Majority Whip of the House the Hammer Tom Delay definition of a BLUE DOG DEMOCRAT being an old yellow dog sitting on the fence holding his breath till he turns blue waiting to see how everybody else votes.

Come on in Iraq we attacked a country that did nothing to us period! We are NOT the world's Democracy advocate. Support the military yes! Stay in Iraq NO!. Sending 40,000 or 400,000 is NOT going to relate to less of our people dying it might even be more. The terrorist in Afganistan just go hide in the hills and sneek back. We are NEVER going to make that country a Democracy ONLY they can due that but just don't have what it takes yet. WE need to leave and use intelligence and satallites to monitor if any terrorist camps appear then we use only bombs to solve that problem.

You're not the sharpest tool in the shed, are you Bob? I can't imagine a world without one single country that tries to keep peace and democracy in other countries. If it weren't for America, our parents would have been lampshades under the German Reich world domination. I can't list all the countries that have been saved from murderous dictators and tyrants because of America. You are not only a fool, you are a coward, just like your pretty boy president. Obama is not my president, and you are a person I could never trust or respect. |
