Geez John, what kind of insensitive, sick, thoughtless _____ are you??
To post a comment like that when you should be aware that the family and friends will read this lacks basic compassion. Or are you even aware of anything outside your world?

If you read the article you would know the CHP found the car at the Vista Point, so no, he didn't pay the toll to cross the bridge. He walked out on the pedestrian walkway.

You should pay better attention to the karma in your life. There are demerits for things like this.

Poor guy! Probably could not afford the new toll rates at the more stylish bridges, nor the transportation cost for mass transit! A bridge south of Vallejo? Tragic!

Now EPA is after him, his estate, for polluting the water! Yes, the estate will be billed for cost of recovery services.

Wether or not your serious about the jokes but really, times are tough and it sucks to see what people would resort to. I lost a good friend who was like an older brother to me who commited suicide of the GG bridge. It was really unexpected of him. He had a good life but another life that no one knew existed. My condolences to the family of the gentleman.

I don't know this guys story but many people turn to suicide to releave their pain. Most of life's difficulties are temporary and if he could have just held on to life a little longer he may have survived. Then again he may have had incurable health problems and perhaps this was his only choice. If it was over a woman or finances then it's too bad someone didn't give him a little advice beforehand.

Damn it's cold out there! Only 3 out of 13 posts express some concern for this man and his family. So 10 of you think suicide is funny? That those 3 posters are "idiots" ?

What if this unfortunate person had reached out to one of these 10 ? They are essentially sociopaths (people who are antisocial) who get their giggles and jollies by making fun of a horribly tragic situation.

A MAN DIED ! WTF is wrong with you?!

But then who would want to live with the likes of you? Was it your father or brother or son? Would you have the balls to post the same uncouth comments if you knew it was?

Just say it to them tonight - tell them you don't give a damn if they jumped off a bridge! Not worthy of the GGB; want to score their splash as the impact severs bone and organs.

After all, be proud of yourself and what you post!

Tell your parents, your spouse and especially your children, you made fun IN PUBLIC of a person trying to end their emotional and physical pain!

They will be so proud of you!

Your lack of compassion and humanity has scarred your heart and soul; you are the ugly American.

Wow how sad our society has become when all we can do is laugh at someone who is so overcome by life he sees nothing.

I am so glad it makes you feel so much bigger and so much better than others to bully them.....even in death.

Why are you upset by peoples comments? He obviously was doing what he wanted to do and die the way he wanted to die. In fact he was totally selfish and inconsiderate in killing himself the way he did. He was "flippin" you all off. There could have been kids there to witness this. Think about them and save your pity for those that loved the jumper.
There going to spend 55 million dollars on nets for the GG bridge to save people, are you kidding me!!! How about we spend 500 bucks on a diving board??
I would not spend one ounce of pity on a jumper but show my concern on the living.
