Those two things are not in the same category as gays. You need to become friends with some gays, they are awesome people. The year is 2009 and things have changed...deal with it. Times have changed, not the Bible. So is it still ok?

BUT, I do know the Bible also says, "Love thy neighbor", to be "my brother's keeper", "do unto others as you'd have them do unto you and forgive those that trespass against you". It doesn't say do those things only if your neighbors are just LIKE you. I don't think it's always EASY to do those things --- in fact --- it's often really hard....but i think that's kind of the point. There are always exceptions, sorry. I would have no problem at all if 2 men or 2 women wanted to be together, that is their business, and I don't care. But when they start demanding to be recognized as "married" so they can be validated and recieve tax breaks and insurance benefits, then yes, I oppose that. Would you feel the same way if a known terrorist or serial killer moved in next door to you?

I sure wouldn't mind a nice gay couple moving in next door. They keep their homes neat and their yards nice. You are a moron mouse to compare a next door serial killer or terrorist to gays.

Yeah, what do gays have in common with serial killers and terrorists....so what if gay people get married and receive tax breaks and insurance benefits...they should have the same rights as everyone...they are people like me and you.

THey are people, but that doesn't give them the right to tax breaks and benefits as if they were married. Marriage has always been defined by the courts as a legal contract between a man and a women. If marriage benefits are extended to gay couples, what's next? I heard a lady from Florida married a dolphin recently. Does the dolphin get her estate if she dies? Is the dolphin entitled to her health insurance plan?

They do have the same rights, they have an equal oppurtunity to marry an adult of the opposite sex. If they choose to not utilize that right, oh well. And they are not people just like us, if they were, they wouldn't be involved in unnatural sex.

The majority of people do not believe in gay marriage. The gays should get over it.

To them it's not unnatural, what us straight folk do is unnatural to them...they should have the same rights as us.

How can it be so hard for someone to the difference between right and wrong. Just look at yourself, can't you see the you were made only one way. I cannot believe that any person is born "wrong". A man and a woman is the way this world made us. And if you ain't in to that I got two words for you......

The bible is meant to be used as a quide. It has been rewritten over and over. you can not take it at face value. So many things are different since the old testament was written, do we still stone family that does not do what we want?

The year is 2009 and things have changed...deal with it. The quote above may be true... yes it's 2009 things have changed. But there is one thing that has never changed THE BIBLE! Word for word has stayed the same for over 2000 years and then some!!!! No matter what you chose to be straight, gay or what have you.

medical science has never proven any chemical or neurological difference in a gay or non gay person. if this has ever been documented please provide me with a reference. we are not in the position to judge....we will all face the final judgement one day. concentrate on your own lifestyle and be prepared to answer for it. love your enemies as yourself, pray for them and ask god to show them the way. do not miss out on heaven for hatred of your fellow man. god loves them as much as he loves all of us. are we all not guilty of sin in some way. lets show love for one another and pray for all our people who have fallen by the way.

I'm guessing that you're not a Christian.
