Knew the victim. Great guy. Would do anything for someone in need of help or just to be there as a friend. Sad this happened. Heard from people who knew his son that he was into drugs. Shame it happen, but it's time to pay up.
He needs to get the DEATH penalty. I don't care about his drug problem. He killed his Dad and Mother. What a peice of crap. Hope his appointed court Atty. doesn't go for insanity plea. He needs to have a NEEDLE PUT IN HIS ARM!! |
|
he needs more than a needle put in his arm but who am I to judge...this is sick no passion for him HOW CAN YOU KILL THE PEOPLE WHO GAVE YOU LIFE??? take his shoot him same fashion, same style I am disgusted!!!

I am very proud to have known and been friends with TJ and Cindy. I will never fully understand what was going thru Tye's mind. Only GOD knows. I can forgive but, I will never accept the lose of two very wonderfully people. I know that they are in a better place. I really am saddened that Tye will begin to realize that. God forgive him, because we as ordinary men will not.

I have seen Tye only a few times in my life; I will not say how I know him. I have to say that he looked very sad and empty in the picture taken for the paper. His parents were wonderful people. Maybe we all do not know what depression can do to a person unless we or a family member has suffered from it. No one, as a parent can know how the way the raise their child could end up causing them to feel later on in life. Maybe there was something about the parents none of us knew about them, that their child could not handle anymoe after 22 years. I am not saying the end justifies the means, but how many of us can say that we have not had evil or unkind thoughts in our heads, but fortunately we never acted on them, for whatever reason? I was sexually abused by my father when he was about 70 (I was 9), but I realize he was not in his right mind at the time, so even though it has affected me and my self esteem, I have forgiven him. Tye and his parents were Christians, and if we do not forgive, we cannot be forgiven. Tye is so young for his life to be over, and he probably already feels like it is. I do not believe that is what his parents would want. If they had it to do over again, I bet they would be even more loving, more encouraging, trying to help build him up as a child growing into an adult, so when he was grown and out on his own, they could look back and say they did a good job. None of us can know waht was going through his mind, if he felt so controlled, that he got out of control, and the only way he knew how to stop it was to stop the controller(s)? I am sure it is hard for all of his remaining family, and there will most likely be some hurt, anger, and maybe even unforgiveness at least for a while, but try to put yourself in each of these people's shoes: those who lost a loved one, those who lost their life, and the one who took it. He had to have been hurting very deeply to do what he did. Would you want your own child put to death, or would you want them punished, given a chance to make a change and try to get their life and head together, and go on, or almost totally end the lives of the two parents even further by only having 1 surviving child? I do believe the entire family loved each other; something just very terribly went wrong and a button got pushed to hard or too many times and. It is my prayer that he is given a second chance in life, even though his parents life was cut short, I truly believe they want him to have the chance to get to know his maker in a real way, not meet his maker at this time. I believe they are waiting for him when God is ready for him to go, not when we might like to decide.

PS don't get me wrong; there are times when I believe in the gas chamber, and I may change my mind as more details come out, but I really, really don't think so. I know some of the closest people to him, and he was not a serial killer, he did not kill his parents like some children have done to collect an insurance policy or anything that was cause from some sort of greed or wanting "everything" right now. He could have taken his own life to get out of the situation, but it is evident he didn't have the heart or nerve to do it or he would not have called the police and stated he was unarmed and waiting for them. He could not bring himself to commit suicide, so he committed homicide. This says something to me somehow, that he was emotionally unstable in a different way from a suicidal person. I am not a psychiatrist by no means, and none of us can get inside his head, but professionals can get some pretty good ideas of why it happened. Two wrongs don't make a right, or I guess I should say 3.

perhaps the great state of Georgia will putm him out of his/our misery since he was too chickenshit to do it himself.

I knew T.J & Cindy both well and know they are in heaven right now singing and dancing. I know they were trying to help Tye and gave there lives for there son just as Jesus gave his life for you and me. I believe without a shadow of a doubt that one day Tye will have that up close and personel relationship with Jesus and will be forgiven. For that I know T.J. and Cindy would do it all over again to keep him out of hell. I also would like to say about the comment it is like him to forgive not like us. We are suppose to forgive like him it says in the bible if you do not show your bother mercy God will not show you mercy. I don't know about you but I want some mercy. A sin is a sin no matter how big or small and we need to remember the kind of people they were and they would want people to reach out to Tye.

No one knows what goes on in a house between family members. I guess the whole story will come out in court. I have seen people who appear perfect to the whole world, but deep secrets can be in their house. I am not saying that was the case. I only knew of them but not personally and everyone has nothing but good things to say about them. LIke everyone is saying. Heaven is a better place than this planet Earth.
I have just seen so many cases of Jekyll and Hyde personalities. You never really know anyone outside their house. |

You know what screw all of you guys. I love Tye so much. He hs some problems, I've seen them arise. I saw him every day for a very long time up until Monday. I can't say what he deserves, but what I can say, is that Tye in jail, the Tye who killed his parents, is NOT the Tye that I saw the two days before.

What could be bothering the son so much that he took his parent's lives?

I am not a friend of the family by any means. I am an acquaintance of their daughter's. While there isn't anything that can ease her pain at this time, I pray for peace in her heart. As for her brother, the devil showed his handiwork on Monday. The only forgiveness Tye needs is from his Lord and Savior and his sister. He will be judged at the gates of heaven and nothing we can do to him on this earth can compare to the wrath awaiting him from God. Don't wish harm to him - people in their right minds don't do things like this and there's much much more there than we may ever know. I pray Tye finds comfort in his God at this horrifying time in his life.

I stand corrected and concur! |

Jeff (TJ) was a good friend of mine in high school. We played on our church basketball team for 2 years, and he was a great guy. I still can't believe this has happened. What a tragic waste.
