The motorcycle rider is still in an induced coma, one back seat passenger is at home with a broken jaw. I do not know any info on the third who was also a backseat passenger. That is all I know.

That is so sad. I believe I went to school with the parents of the motorcycle rider. I wonder if he will make it through?

When I first read this post I thought they meant that all three injured were on the motorcyle and I couldn't figure that one out. After reading the story, I take it to mean there was only one person on the motorcycle and the other two injured were in the back seat of the car that the motorcycle hit. I have to admit I was surprised to hear the motorcycle hitting the car injured those backseat passengers so badly. You'd expect that the motorcyclist would be injured badly but that the car would protect the passengers for the most part. I guess not. I learned something new today.

I hope Tommy pulls thru. I'm sure his parents and family and friends are devastated. I didn't realize the others were injured that badly - I feel for their families too. Thanks for your information - please keep posting if you have any updates.

My kids are friends with the motorcycle rider and know the one with the broken jaw. I told them to think long and hard everytime they drive. You can be doing everything right and a tragic accident can alter your life.

The two boys in the back seat were injured when the motorcycle hit the back of the car and came up smashing into the back window hitting the boys.

Horrible horrible accident for all involved. The other kids in the car are so fortunate they are ok. The cyclist has a long road to recovery ahead of him. I have not heard that the other bot that had brain surgery had passed. If this is true my heart felt sympathies to the family and friends.

My prayers are with all involved.

There were 3 passengers in the back seat. One had his jaw and nose broken but is at home now. One of the back seat passengers didn't have scratch on him and the 3rd suffered a broken neck and head trauma. he however just woke up and is being moved from ICU. Note this though NO ONE DIED! The motorcyclist, I have no definite news on but I do know he is alive but going to need a lot of recovery time.

Thank you so much for the update. I am so very glad to hear that no one has passed. The news is spreading quickly through the school of the one passing. Tommy is still in an induced coma and fighting pneumonia.

NOBODY DIED. I am very close to all of them and I know for a fact that nobody died. Tommy has one eye open now but is still not responding, YET. Hes progressing but very slowly. As for the other two, they are doing well.

From what you have posted it may be construed the motorcyclist was driving like a total idiot. This being the case the cycle driver should face long hard prison time. His flouting of traffic laws makes him an attempted murderer. Throw the book at this goof for endangering and hurting so many innocent people. Rid the roads of moronic selfish drivers.

You seem to have forgotten he wiped out totally and is now in a med-induced coma. I'd think he learned his lesson way better than any jail could teach him.

To the person who said he should have jail time. Have some respect. You have no idea what his family and friends are going through, along with his self. Everyone makes bad choices. If this was your son would you want him to have jail time NOOO! He has a long recovery. If he remembers anything i'm sure he feels horrible. Keep your nasty comments to yourself!

One thing needs to be made perfectly clear, quakertown. None of my comments regarding the irresponsible lawbreaker were nasty. Why, in a public forum, would you care to usurp my right to freely and logically comment? Are you some type of radical wishing to deprive citizens of their constitutional rights? I have respect for people who obey the laws. People who violate laws need to be punished. This motorcycle driver broke many laws and injured several innocent people. The driver has brought hurt and shame to his family because of his selfish and arrogant actions. Society requires him to pay a price for his actions. This price can only be jail time.

Family & friends not teaching him right from wrong is what got him here. Now they want us to feel bad & encourage his behaviour also.

The kid did something reckless and his injuries
and the injuries he induced in others are
punishment enough, far worse punishment than some
bars in front of his face. Hopefully he has
learned something from this and maybe can help
other kids who may be inclined to pull risky
bike and motor vehicle moves. Teenagers
sometimes don't mull over consequences before
they do things.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Virgo

Words are flying around in all directions today, and the conversations will be fast and furious. You might face a lot of distractions and interruptions, or you could get caught up in some rather irritable slanging matches with a certain person. The busier you are, the more fraught you'll become and the more likely to go off the deep end.
