Wow! That takes a lot of dedication and hard work. Her parents must be so proud. They've obviously did a fantastic job raising her!

I was just like this, but I didn't letter because I had to move states in my Jr. year. However, I was on teams, editor of the paper, clubs and other events. Now as a teacher myself I am still involved with the journalism club, robotics club and coach 2 sports along with full time teaching. If it is in your blood you do it, because you love it and it doesn't seem hard all the time. Good luck and I hope you get a scholarship!

CONCERNED CITIZEN maybe you should get a life and not worry about what the CHILDREN ARE DOIN. SPECIALLY IF IT MAKES THEM HAPPY AND THEY ARE KEEPING THERE GRADES AT STRAIGHT A'S. WOW APPARENTLY there is not a problem with it if the student has her grades up and is lettering in all of the sports she is playing what ya think now??? sounds like to me someone has a case of jealousy because they were ignored as a child????

@ concerned citizen....why? Perhaps if more kids/children participated in supervised sports here in Northern VA, we wouldn't have sooo many other issues going on. What you are suggesting is that it is much better that kids just roam the streets causing all kinds of havoc? Just wondering...how and why you come to that conclusion?

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Leo

There's an erratic quality to the day, thanks to the Full Moon in emotional Cancer, combined with a lunar eclipse. Loved ones are likely to behave in ways you hadn't counted on. The only way to cope with this is to be as flexible as possible. Someone might change an arrangement at the eleventh hour so you have to think on your feet, or others may be determined to do their own thing even though it doesn't suit you. Get any arguments out of the way quickly so you can enjoy your New Year's Eve celebrations with a glad heart.
