I'm surprised that cabin was left standing that long. The Manson chapter hastened the end of hippie counter-culture. His clan and a few others like the SLA thought the message was anarchy, and all ended up in jail as lunatics -- saw a cool site; Balkingpoints ; incredible satellite view of earth

Manson made for an Amazing bad guy. The whole event is an interesting part of American history.

Ive been to the ranch and walked around it was a crazy place. Why would someone burn the place, sure it has some very bad vibes to it but i think it should still be around for history.

What a load of codswollop. The appeal court hearing 1976 established that Atkins confession to stabbing Tate was perjury, and that her grand jury testimony was instead accurate. Tex Watson has corroborated by saying he caused all of Tates wounds. Enough of the Hollywood sensationalism - it is really bad taste to suggest multiple active killers of Tate when all evidence says just 1. I think Americans just like to dramatise.
